I am so grateful that I just got into fragrance buying about 3 years ago, I didn't get to do the old batches and formulations, basically all I do is, I'll try a cologne if I like the way it smells on me I'll buy it, I don't look at batches or anything like that if it smells good to you then wear it, it doesn't matter where it came from
Sounds simple, but check this out. I tried 1 million parfum twice before buying it. Different tester bottles from different stores and i loved it. Stayed on me for ever and the scent was amazing. So i said great, i am buying. I bought a bottle and suddenly not only it doesnt last that long, but after 1 hour it dries down to a weird scent that i dont really like, it was not the case when i tested it, and no its not a fake bottle. So i check things out and i see that what i bought is a march 2023 batch which means the recent ones. So now what? I cant find official information about reformulation with 1 million parfum, but it is what it is. So just spraying, liking and buying can lead to a mistake. You want a fragrance, you buy it, but its not what you wanted so after paying money, you still dont have the fragrance. How do you avoid it? At least try to do some minor research if the fragrance was reformulated or not and check the baches accordingly, otherwise you may find yourself fooled.

Justin needs to learn to knock before walking into Justin's room. Justin was having a moment with his Aventi and Justin just barged in unannounced. This could have been a scarring experience... for both Justins!
I have been using Aventus for several years one bottle after another. That said, in January I bought another one to replace what I had finished and it came completely watery, much worse than what I had dried before. For the amount spent, this is unacceptable. I use, or used, as a signature perfume, but after two disappointments I will change my signature to other brands like Xerjoff, Perfume du Bois, Boadicea and so on.
Creed was bought out by a equity firm called BlackRock in 2020. They had keep the cost down and certain ingredients were removed. Same thing happened to MFK few years back.

I couldn't smell anything in peace without someone try to show me sonething or introducing me to other sales people. Neatly 40 mins and 4 sales people I left
@@iStorm-my5fp that is ridiculous, and I’ve totally been there. Going to major department stores are seldom the way to go. Unless you have a small boutique or shop you can visit, it’s unfortunately hard to find a peaceful experience smelling fragrances. The only other option is to be stern with SA’s and tell them that you want to spend some time discovering in your own. But I know that’s not always easy to do
Just another quality issue for Creed OMHO. I don’t wear nor have I ever worn this one. I find searching for clones pretty amusing as well. I have issues about reformulations and discontinued fragrances and nightmares about reissued scents. I have shut the door on most of them. However, If I ever get a chance to purchase any Gobin Daude again, I will buy😂😂😂

The conversations I used to see in gent scents group were so fucking ridiculous! I’m glad I got booted out for some stupid bullshit. All I’m in is TLTG and it’s so much more laid back and not full of D-Bags.

In case of this viedo it's understable that discussion about batches seems to be hilarious, but when you're getting new bottle of your favourite juice after reformulation, which has no performance/longevity - in my opinion you have the rights to be dissapointed if you paid the same money. Now it seems you are justifying all the brands that are "watering down" perfumes and taking the same or bigger money for 'em. For me it's not okay - I want to get the best for my money, but maybe it's because I'm not getting any free bottles from brands... Going crazy about anything is no good but acting like reformulations are not a problem in frag industry is wrong. Also maybe this problem is likely to happening more often in designer category than niche, so you may not be aware how bad it can goes right now? All the best!
