- What’s in my minimalist purse? The short answer: iPhone 6, car keys, earbuds, charging cord, wallet, chapstick, reusable utensils, medications, a pen, and cash.
I really try is keep my purse simple, decluttered, and minimal. It makes my life so much easier and less stressful. While I don’t keep a ton of things in my everyday bag, I get a lot of value from the items that I do keep in there. What are the items that you always carry in your purse? Minimal or not :)

I carry earplugs, two or three cough drops or hard candies (for low blood sugar as well as sore throats), two bandaids, nail clippers, a hairtie, a safety pin, two bobby pins, my checkbook and register, my mini-journal, keys, phone, chapstick (also works as lotion). I put a rubber band around my cards. My purse is about the same size as yours.
I usually have a hand sanitizer in mine because I really don't like feeling like somethings on my hands after I go to like a thrift store or gas station, places like that
I'm always carrying at least a 24 oz bottle of water cuz I'm always thirsty so I struggle with small purses because I don't carry a lot but I'm like might as well get one big enough for a water bottle 😖

I carry a medium size purse with: charger, back up keys, coin bag, cards, hair elastic, locker (for the gym), headset, lip balm, work security pass, umbrella, shopping bag, blotting paper, and a bottle.
I carry a small bag, but I have a fork spoon and knife too because I hate using plastic. One it's waste and 2 so many people touch it sometimes it grosses me out. 🤣

I have a small back pack.. in it I have pain meds... purse phone. Charger. Wet wipes. Mascara and lipstick diary bus/train times.. a snack for my daughter a pouch for bobby pins and hair ties tissues and maybe bits n bobs and bits of little blind bag toys
Simple items, but all so useful! I love it!
I like having a small, crossbody purse as well. I like having my hands free. I always carry an extra contact lense, glass nail file, and chapstick. I can't go without them!
My purse has many pockets which is perfect for organizing. It has my makeup bag in one part. Mints in one part. Joint and lighter in one part, may switch to pipe to reduce waste lol but I like joints. Pocket for cards and money. Biggest pocket for food and meds. Second biggest for a book and a pen. Side pockets for hairtye, comb, and small container with coconut oil

i always have a pen, earbuds, charging cord/powerbank, reusable water bottle, wallet, chapstick, keys, utensils, medication, epipens!!!!!!! , medical supplies, and a small container of snacks. i usually have a book as well but that's usually in my hands as i'm waiting for the subway or waiting on line in a shop.
I always carry a foldable tote bag, means I don't need to use plastic bags if I end up doing any shopping.
Oh yes! I keep one in my car! It comes in handy all of the time :)
I have ALL SIZE purses, but I never keep a ton of items in any of them. I have a nice organizer bag in my car that holds lots of things I want to keep near by when I'm going anywhere (Kleenex, hair brush, change for my drive thru coffee) all the business punch cards, pen, note , emergency snacks, and a ton of other items. I never want to break my arm carrying a stuff I MIGHT need.

I would love to be able to carry just my phone, wallet, keys, but I have to carry emergency items for both myself, since I suffer from severe autoimmune disease, and my disabled best friend. I always have to carry medications, inhalers, sunscreen, healthy snacks, water bottles, eye mask, calendar book, phone charger, wet wipes, small toiletry kit (in case of ER/hospital visit), sun-blocker umbrella, flashlight, wrist blood pressure cuff, copies of medical files, etc However, I have managed to get all of this into a 12 x8 inch messenger bag by using different pouches. If Im just making a quick stop at a store, and someone stays in our vehicle, then I just take my small wallet and phone in.

I have my purse, a brolly, plasters, painkillers, chapstick and a reusable bag. I usually carry my water bottle and lunchbox if I'm going to work so have my backpack and a small side bag if I'm just going out.

Ashlynne Eaton I downsized my wallet and have taken out all of 'what if's' I 'think' I need but don't ever use. Also, if it's $20 or less, I'll pick it up versus storing it in my purse. Lastly, I think of all of the damage and how expensive it would be to fix (chiro, physio, etc) my busted neck or shoulder if I keep my purse stuffed/heavy. Thinking long term versus short term.

My wallet and a little cosmetic bag with a burt's bees lipbalm, a mirror, a little Nivea creme, hand sanitizer, Kleenex; a pen and muy cellphone. I'm from México and I love watching your videos !

I always carry phone, keys, minimalist wallet, nail file, lip balm, lighter (because everyone always takes them), and a magnifying glass and tape measure, because I am often thrifting for my etsy.
I need a slightly larger bag because there are a lot of times when I need to carry my Kindle and my pen bag (especially when I need to work on weekends), but that's about it.

My bag is bigger and I'm ending up putting too much stuff in it. Apart from those you have, what I have in my bag: keys, tissues, hand sanitiser, nail file, compact face powder( in summer) little pot of deodorant(again in summer ) and bottle of water.
I rarely use a purse anymore because I tend to carry things I don’t need! I use a long wallet for cards and $ ! I just carry my phone and keys in hand with my wallet
haha that reminded me last time they didn't accept my penny because it was Canadian. Im American but they were like oh u can have ur Canadian penny back. I was like???? Then I looked and yeah it was Canadian.
That’s hilarious, I’m always trying to pull out Canadian change. It all gets mixed up in my purse 😂💙

I'm really struggling with becoming a minimalist, i just don't know where to start. i carry a small bag and there is literally only the essentials, but as far as the rest of mi life, i don't know where i should even start or how to start.
Try starting by decluttering one area of your life every day or week! Declutter shoes one day, mail and magazines to next day, your kitchen the next, etc. it’s a process that can take time, but it’s so rewarding!

I always have gospel tracts, my phone, keys, wallet, lipstick and powder, gum, cough drops, tiny container of various pain meds, foldable shopping bag, pen. Ugh it seems like a lot of stuff! I keep trying to minimalize but it never seems to be less. Lol
I get that feeling. Sometimes it can feel like there’s a lot we need to take with us but it’s just important that we are intentional about what we bring with us :)

Minimalist for me = no purse. Wallet phone case and keys
I couldn’t be that minimal! Tissues, lip balm, pocketknife, and possibly a small flashlight with spare battery. Probably ear buds too.
