I'm sorry but this is absolutely ridiculous and not applicable for the "pro" development (like you said). Whenever you work in a team, you don't just bring the new UI framework, like tailwind or shadcn, you instead use what the project has already established or what the suite of sibling projects use, unless there's a strong reason for that. However, I definitely can see this being applied for small personal projects.

Thanks for your comment! I agree when working with a bigger team and existing project, there should always be a good reason for adopting new frameworks and libraries. What I meant though is that when you have a blank slate for a component you need to produce, having a tool like this gives you a head start because you can get a component created by just describing it or by drawing it with pen and paper. You can then tweak the component to better fit your needs. For prototyping and for smaller projects I found v0 to be super helpful! And I really think that using a tool like this gives you an advantage over not using it. But as said I agree that you shouldn't not just npm install shadcn and tailwind to your big existing project, if they aren't using them, and then copy paste the component from v0.

This is sad. Especially when you hire people, who you think are good at writing code, but in reality they are good at using AI.
