MSC MAGNIFICA Cruise Days 4 &5; Nassau and back to Miami

- We are Ron and Tammy of Weinke World Adventures, and in this video we will show you the ending of our cruise on the MSC Magnifica- Days 4 & 5. This cruise seemed to go so fast... but with one day left, we try to make the most of it. We get off the boat in Nassau, and see many other ships in port, including the new Royal Caribbean Icon of the Seas ship! Then we explore the port area to do a little shopping, and on to the streets of Nassau to check out the deals there. We find our favorite bar- the Bearded Clam and enjoy some local beers. On the way back to the ship, we stop by the traditional Straw Market. Once on board again, we watch a little of the Farewell Party, and then opt to stay up on deck to see the sunset and sail away. Dinner at the Buffet was SO good on Italian night, and the we finished off the cruise with the show in the theatre- A Circus Story.
The next morning, we got up super early as we approached Miami and got to see many ships and terminals all lit up, as well as the skyline of Miami! Just beautiful!

What do you think of Miami port? Have you found better or worse with certain Florida Ports? I've only done Port Canaveral. Thanks and thanks for the journey!

We have been to the Port of Miami many times, and we love the sail aways! You can even see Miami Beach as you pull out.
They have it pretty well laid out in terms of navigating the port and parking and such. It’s really not that bad! This was our first time actually driving there ourselves, and we just used Google maps and it went fine. The traffic in Miami itself can be pretty bad, but the day we went it seemed fine. Other times, we have just taken an Uber from the airport and it was simple. There’s also a lot to see and do around Miami.
However, we love Port Canaveral as well! That is a lot less congested, and super simple to get to. Also a beautiful sail away!
The only other ports that we’ve sailed out of are Fort Lauderdale, Vancouver, and Whittier, AK. We hope to try more ports in the future! 🛳️
Did you have to pay for the gelato?
Yes, unfortunately, we did have to pay for the gelato. We just had one scoop each. I think it was $4.50 for each scoop that we had. I probably would not do that every day, but it was fun for a splurge! 🤗 It was very yummy!
