Fasted in college and a near stranger paid off my student loans. At the end of the fast I did not care about the money anymore. The miracle came not too long after the fast. Not perfect but I denied my flesh and sought the Lord. I need to fast again for other issues. Jesus is my best friend.

I'm fasting as I'm watching this I'm almost on 24 hours and I wanna fast till I feel the love the trust and know it'll be ok. I'm crying as I'm typing this cause I'm always attacked with thoughts I never asked for things I would never do and it's just crazy. So I'm fasting for my lord and an understanding between him and me.
Same here! It gets worse with fasting but I won't stop. It doesn't help that somewhere in the Bible it says even our thoughts will be looked at. I usually say, "get out of my head satan", they're definitely not my thoughts! But I still ask for forgiveness for having auch thoughts

God knows the difference between what are your thoughts and those false and vain imaginations and vain thoughts being projected into your mind from evil spirits, evil atmospheres, evil peopld and/or from evil altars. The spirit in the power of the air is a major way the devil and his cohorts broadcast wickedness and satanic mind control measures upon the world. Put on the Full Armour of God daily starting with the Helmet of Salvation. Monitor and screen your mlwhat u take in through your eye, ear mouth even nose gate. Plead the Blood of Jesus against every onslaught and attack. And remain covering yourself in the Blood of Yeshuah 24/7.
This is correct. My first fast was 6 days with just water. I did it to get closer to the LORD. I didn’t do it to get anything. I just wanted to hear from Him more. The second day I had a bad headache but I didn’t quit. The 3rd day the Holy Spirit completely took over. I had no cravings but was feeling the presence peace joy and manifest love of the Lord powerfully! I also had increased energy. I prayed in tongues a lot and walked 12 miles with minimal effort. The Holy Spirit did all of it. The flesh is unable to accomplish these feats on just water. I believe it was the 4th day of the fast I walked 12 miles.

@@peacelovejoyandhappiness yes once an Esther 3 days with neither food or water. Once a Daniel 21 days. And sporadic ones here and there. 2-5 days each. When it’s ordained by the Lord you don’t feel hungry after the 2cd day but I may have done a few myself just because and I was ravenous. I have also fasted prior to deliverance. That’s powerful!

How do we fast? Just drink water?
@@barbwojciechowski391 No, it's not just drinking water. You can fast from food by having a liquid fast by drinking smoothies, or soup, which is what I had done for 40 days. But the smoothie must have a good fat like peanut butter or avocado. I started mine w/unsweetened almond milk (or coconut milk, pea protein, cashew, regular milk but mix a little water bc milk gets frothy, or soy), frozen fruit like strawberries, blueberries, etc., protein powder - chocolate or vanilla or your favorite flavor, raw nuts or seeds or granola, or unsweetened flaked coconut and blend. Sometimes I blended chicken noodle soup, or drank tomato soup. You can't just not eat, you need to make up for what you don't eat as a solid. I made the mistake the first time just drinking broth but I was becoming weak. If you can't fast from food completely, then something that's been a bad habit like eating sweets, so give that up, or too much tv, or too much Internet - back off social media but you can read emails. I gave up social media and just did emails since I was contacting my accountability partner that way. That's another idea, have someone who has fasted before do it with you bc trying it alone the first time is hard and try 3 days for the first time. Wait a week then go 5. After my fast finished, eating sweets isn't as tasty as it used to be. I don't really crave junk food as much. I taste it from what my kids eat but it's not 'good' anymore. It's also not good to be distracted by the thing you're fasting from which is why of course one puts that energy into reading the Bible and try to memorize a verse like Psalm 100. I've memorized it. Also, have a Fasting Journal to write down what you're struggling with while fasting and bring it to Jesus to give you strength. I hope these ideas help. I am on my 22nd day of fasting with only green juice. No food. I have been reborn and reinvented. Praying to continue on for a 40 day fast. Mind Body and Soul has been renewed

Thank you for this teaching Rabbi Schneider. I just found your CZcams channel by chance last week. I have been a Christian for many years and fasting wasn't an easy thing to do. Last year, 2019, I don't remember fasting on any day. At the beginning of this year 2020, the Holy Spirit told me to go on a 21 day Daniel fast. I had never done it before. On the 8th I woke up and told my family. To my surprise, I was able to fast without temptation of eating meat. I would even prepare meals for my family and not feel tempted to eat. I prayed and studied the Bible 3 times a day as Daniel did in the book of Daniel. Friends, I must tell you this was so amazing. One day I had an encounter with God. He was speaking to me. I have never experienced that in my life. I was led to scriptures I have never read, which were addressing my situations. I was trembling with shock on the day of the encounter. As for scriptures, I had never even heard Preachers preaching about them, despite them being so powerful. Indeed, when God is leading us to do something, He gives us the courage and strength to overcome.

I use to fast ,but have really been struggling with doing so the last few years . And I really feel a need to get my head straight ,and do this again .For spiritual cleansing, striegth , healing ,and closeness to God . Hopefully in the future soon I will be able to .

Thank you brother. The way you teach is so awesome. God bless you and your ministry. I recomitted my life to Jesus around two and a half months ago. God started doing great things in my life. I stopped shooting heroin. I quit smoking. I got rid of the heavy metal music that God showed me I was bound to for 23 years. Even though I've been going through a lot of spiritual battles, but I believe it was necessary. I believe it's coming to an end and I'm coming out of the desert with the power of the Holy Spirit.
In fasting when we are determined and ask God to help us, it becomes easier and we will have the strength to finish it with power.

Always remember that if you have hope then you are a child of GOD Because people without the LORD have no hope but a child of GOD knows nothing is impossible for the LORD and he loves me there for nothing is impossible for me . STAY strong in the LORD he will not forsake you trust him and I shall pray for you to stay strong . That's amazing my sister went through something very similar and she cleaned up by the grace of the LORD. Drugs are alwful and hard to kick especially herion so keep looking forward my sisters been clean like 24 years now married. Have FAITH in the LORD and trust that he will not let you fall.

I love the teaching because nowadays doctrines some are scary. Some people fast facebook, pizza etc. Meanwhile fasting sincerely means away from from food even water for sometime. People refuse death to flesh. Thanks Rabbi God bless you more.
Medically, for your body, you do need H20. You still need H20 to necessitate the proper physiological functions for your body. The cells, organs, skin, and blood. Also for good cardiovascular function of the heart, and the arteries and veins to transport life giving water to the blood. Water is Life to the blood, as the blood is Life to the human body. You need water for proper electrolyte function,, Sodium and Potassium levels could go out of wack if you don't hydrate your body with water, so The bodily functions and system keep a normal homeostasis. You need water replenishment for every cell in your body, Without water, your body could go into Anaphatic Shock, and other severe dangerous reactions, Low Blood sugar, causing dizziness,fainting spells, and possibly death, if your brain goes in a coma because your body is lacking water.Also,a possible heart attack or stroke. One can only live about 3 or 4 days without water. Ask your physician about all the dangers, and consequences if you Don't at least refresh your body with water.
I have fasted and been delivered from addiction. I'm not an expert but my body needed water and I did not deny myself that. It was not a fleshly pleasure but a physical need. If you ever feel the desire to fast without water be absolutely certain it is the Spirit of the Lord moving you to do this. God bless.

Continental to surround yourself with Christ followers that are stronger and are following Jesus,not perfectly but believe in sanctification. I havent clicked on your channel but I will say this. Gotta cut ties with a few people man. It's gonna be soooooooo hard with some because they....are like ride or die.theyll be hurt. You'll hurt. But your going somewhere they cannot go. Up. Don't feel you are selfish....don't feel your trying to be better..because if your ready serious about letting....God change you...some of the long term relationships need to be let go of or (as I was typing rabbi saod cut off)wayyyy loose. Sucks. But God gives grace. He wants you out of the environment that leads you to doubt and God and wanna go back to your old ways. Easy to fall back into and excuse it because if you don't start distancing, they'll convince you that you don't need to do "all that" to be saved or such n such isn't a sin or.....why r acting like your better. Shame and guilt and settling is not your portion my brother. God had me see this i suppose. Didn't plan on writing anything other that I am happy for ya but here we are.
This is so serious dude. Like...idk if you have a mentor a pastor a church or friend or family member that can help disciple you but learning to follow Jesus is going to take focus,ask for wisdom he'll give it to you. Make sure you have a hard copy bible. Write a few scriptures down to help you overcome temptations.
Worrying is a huge battleground. I often am on it. But in the end we win and NOT lose. A strategy, a plan a blueprint will form against you and your life but they/it will NOT prosper. You are NOT to be condemed and shamed when you still sin,only forgiven. The enemy will whisper lies to sound like a twisted version of the truth Jesus is showing you, You will NOT fall for the devils lies in Jesus Holy name.

It's OK to question God and speak very transparently with the Holy spirit when you are afraid or angry or just...."done" with something.
Alot of Christians don't talk about the journey of being "angry" with God. People don't like to scare new believers away. I believe just as someone warned me when I first got saved and was on fire,that one day I'd truly doubt God and have alot of questions without clear answers etc. I responded nahhh.never. I've gone through two separate seasons where I was so angry and hurt and things go allowed even though I am in ministry and am on fire....for Him. But God drew me closers after tough seasons and it all became a testimony to let others know yes...we reverence God..but we can't act as though we don't go through very weak and doubting times in our walk.

they don't understand you. How do you know if you have really forgiven? It's hard not to feel hurt but I don't want to hold on to the past. I want to move forward with JOY and freedom in Christ!

When you have forgiven and made peace with a wrong that's been done (to you or by you), the weight that was once attached isn't there anymore. Sometimes forgiveness is a process. Sometimes forgiveness is complete yet it still takes time to heal from the effects of whatever happened, and to truly make Peace with experiences in our heart of hearts. I pray for your healing, that in Christ you have true freedom to experience His Joy & Peace more and more each day and share the same with others. One Love

So I'm on day 16 now and l haven't been sick for a few years bit already in the first week l got the flu and then day 14 l got measles and I'm covered in sores and on top of that the channel l follow daily for readings is Torah life ministry is doing the book of Job right now. I couldn't make this stuff up 🙏😂
@@nikedemustre533 excess fasting can lead to a number of pollutants in the body being released, sometimes it is better to help try to clean the body with moderate periods of fasting before trying anything too severe (not that I am sure fasting is the surest of ways to live by the Scriptural guidelines)

Thank you as always. Fasting is absolutely very important, this is why some versions of the bible ex. NIV remove when Yahusha says this type can only come out by fasting & prayer. The enemy is very deceiving... Always sending blessings, Shalom.
I stopped reading the NIV, when a friend, a pastor, gave me a sheet of paper showing where the word "Blood" was removed from the NIV, thus changing the meaning of scripture.

I started by cutting off sugar and grains, the cut off one meal then 2, then I replace that meal with soup. Drink only water. You can go from extreme anguish to just peace supernaturally.

Thank you I needed to hear this. I’ve done it at least a half a dozen times. It helps break a bad habit, on another occasion it helps me to get over a relationship ending, it helped strengthen me and my marriage later on, so many good things because I trusted in him and dedicated the fast to various causes and he was guiding me throughout. I didn’t have to be starving to death by one time had just fruits and clear liquids, another time vegetables and liquids, another time just liquids, another time just skipping a meal. I find that when I asked for the guidance of the Holy Spirit it really works

Hi Elizabeth, l just felt that I should text you some encouragement. So many miss this simple truth that maybe you have too. I got it when I was 27. God honors those who honor Him. When l was 27, l saw a preacher on tv that talked about spending at least an hour with God everyday. (2 hours and 40 min is a tithe of our time). I began that immediately, it was like something exploded in my spirit that said This is what you've missed. So each day l set a timer and began with prayer, worship, then l would read Proverbs, the chapter would be whatever date it was and l would spend time reading and praying Psalms any that I could, and just reading in general in the Bible. To tell you the truth, l didn't think marriage would ever happen for me, And the strongholds l had in my life, l just figured l would always have them, but l began this and strongholds were broke off my life and l was married on my 31st birthday, 31 years ago still married to same person today.
Actually, I heard also a preacher say that Oral Roberts had been told by God to read Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, &Acts 3 times in 30 days and how she felt that she wanted to do that too. How she had just recently moved so she had boxes and boxes that wasn't unpacked. She also had a baby and a toddler, but her husband was in different towns holding services, so he wasn't right there all the time when she decided to do this. She was willing to put everything aside to put the Word first in her life but she said ordinarily, she wasn't the type to put housework or things that needed to be done in everyday life. She didn't feel the Lord would have her neglect all these things and was determined to get everything done and reading the Word too. Sure enough on day one she had gotten everything done and more by 3p that day. Years later she would say that on a daily basis, she needed to read the Word each day. She would catch herself doing and saying things that just weren't right and realize she had neglected to do her reading a few days and get right back in it to turn things around. When l first got married, l got out of it and came close to divorce. When l tried the challenge l never could do it, then l got a electronic tablet and downloaded different Bible apps that lets you read along as it reads it to you and I found one where l liked the voices on it and it's not dramatized and when l began my hour, l had a flash vision of Jesus sitting on the arm of my chair and He said with a smile, "you'll be able to do it this way" and disappeared. Sure enough, I did, and it was easy. Anybody can do it this way. Love you

Thank you so for helping me find some missing pieces this puzzling topic. I too have had many supernatural encounters with the spirit, being out of body. The most profound happened about 2 years ago, and I’m still processing what I saw and experienced. . Since then I’ve been practically obsessed with trying to get back have that experience again.
Fasting with prayer is the one thing that I never considered because it didn’t really make sense to me, nor have I heard it explained the way you did here.

Marx Wade i wouldnt suggest seeking experiences.. but instead to fellowship with God through Holy Spirit. to get wisdom revelation and knowledge of who He is, His will for your life, and understanding in spiritual things.
there are many false teachings that are experience based.. even paul warned if "an angel appear preaching another gospel let him be cursed..." (not exact words)
and in 1 john we are taught to "believe not every spirit but try the spirits"
so as you grow spiritually and you do have experiences.. be sure to be walking closely with the LORD and being obedient..
because witches mediums psychic diviners occultists etc.. can have supernatural experiences but they arent from God (thats where seducing spirits and doctrines of demons come from)
people get information from the spirit realm and if they do not know Gods word, arent walking with Jesus being led by The Holy Spirit.. then it can be very dangerous..
Jesus said seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness.. not spiritual experiences..
i say this all with love.. not to discourage but to encourage! to remind you of the mannnny warnings from Jesus and the apostles... take heed noone deceives you..
Jesus said in john 6:63 that the very words HE speaks are SPIRIT and LIFE..
also the 2 sisters.. one ran around busy with all these activities.. and she was mad at her sister for not helping.. but instead just sitting at JESUS' feet... listening to HIM
Jesus told her.. there is really only one thing to be concerned with.. your sister at my feet has found it and i wont take it from her..
really think deeply about those last 2 lessons..
HIS WORDS are SPIRIT and LIFE.
the more you spend time with your whole heart at his feet really listening the better..

also fasting is definitely a VERY powerful key to spiritual growth and discipline. if you are diligently fasting and seeking the lord in prayer and in his WORD.. you will receive everything he said you would for doing so.
I love fasting. Through fasting I was delivered . Through fasting I became more connected to God. And I no longer yeild to things of the flesh. Thank you Father God through your beloved son Jesus
