Man, this is a very useful, very versatile, and I might add, a very good looking, racking product. Yakima is doing it right. I'm looking at getting a new Ff150 Ford Raptor with the Diamondback HD bed cover. I just don't want those huge bed rails, I prefer something lower. But with this, I can but a rack on the cab roof that would work with this for high things when needed, and still be able to open the Diamondback HD cover for ready access to what's in the bed. I imagine it would work this way. Nice.
Glad to hear it, Nate! Just ensure if you want this as high as the cab, you will also need the Long Arm extension to pair with this rack to reach the cab height
Too many separate parts you have to buy as accessories like the lock the extension put it all together and give me a deal! For the price you pay you should get it all!

All of these bed extenders are basically the same design. I'm not sure why they don't make a variable height adjustment to get it just perfect. Most of the time it's either and inch too high or an inch too low.

Jason, we do understand, but this is how the manufacturers are able to make the best and safest fits for all cars. All in one universal racks are not the safest to put on your vehicle, unfortunately.
I think it's also worth mentioning he's not a rep for Yakima. He's only doing a video on the rack.
