@@jordy2299 I have a 2300 lb car with 700 wheel horsepower. It's not some b18 either, it starts to make boost before 4000 rpm.
No, it most certainly not a joke.
@@elonmust7470 that means nothing. I thought you were making fun of dumb civic owners. But you’re one of them yourself
@@jordy2299 Whatever you say, kid.
With Demon you respect the car design. But with that supercharged truck you respect the driver.
Lightweight old school beats big, heavy new most of the time.
yea after you put 50k mods into them
I love all. Built or bought. I have respect for all. Some old cars they use, you don't see all the time, you just gotta love old school muscle. Built always has their own twist. Bought usually doesn't. You know what to expect under the hood. Bought is nice cause usually it's something I'll never afford or something I won't spend that much on.
The bought cars are ok when you don't know how to turn a wrench , but I take great pride in the car I built !
Jon Warsheski naaaaawww really 🤦🏽♂️
Aerodynamics plays a big part in this
Damn the challenger Demon is a freaking beast. I need to get one in my life
840 hp gotta go somewhere
@@thundercookie6581 that somewhere that its gonna go is gonna be the wall if you aint careful
I thought that first pickup was going to eat that Challenger for breakfast, good run
What about someone who pays to have it modded still counts as bought lol
Ok sure buddy you think that
@@shamelessjr5129 hows it any difference between a rich person buying a fast car and a rich person buying a fast car and then paying someone else to modify it for them bc they dont know anything about it. Still bought
@@keedoopop4900 and its still modified
keedoopop Not really, it’s different to pay top dollar making something do no one expects with custom products vs something out from the factory.
Takes real guts to put money and risk to make it happen. Hellcat\corvettes are still under warranty as stock
If you’re ready to point me to the ‘free parts shelf, I’d appreciate it!’
I dont think the truck needs a supercharged badge. Everyone can clearly see its supercharged lol
That green car thou 💪
Cuda babyyyyyy
Mighty Boomerang you are adorable 😍
He went before the light

*Sees demon pull up beside him*

So...
Which one of these people didn’t spend money???
🤔
I don’t know if you’re joking but both parties spent a whole lot of money on their cars
@@immortalsuislide5511; Yeah, that was the sarcasm. Even working on a beater costs money. Now just imagine trying to make it a 1/4 mile car?! 😆
That’s why they tell you constantly, racing is a hobby, not an occupation. (Unless you’re a professional driver or something of the sort.)

The pride factor of building your own car is way beyond buying one
I’d still rather have that Datsun truck than a factory hot rod.
Cooool bro
It's truly awesome that someone can go buy a 10 second car! The sport will HOPEFULLY go on for generations to come
That demon tho 👌
Fernando Salgado overhyped garbage is what they are
Chris Music lover98 definitely not garbage or over hyped but a built car is more pride fil to watch win like I would love to tune a mk4 Toyota Supra with a 2jz engine man those are fast and dust hellcats (1993-97) preferably
Not my personal favorite color for a demon... Besides that old Hemi Barracuda sure did give it a run for its money... The Demon is a nice car but no matter what they say its still not the best drag car out there...
ok, that first pick up truck sounds nasty i love it
Good quality camera
The driver makes a big difference!
Thank you for putting this together, I really enjoyed it.
Built cars have more passion and connection to the driver than a bought car.
That was a Cuda at 1:32, not an old school Dodge and was damn quick to 😮
Cudas are trash
@@anitajevv2150 lol what could a young girl know about them, you don't because you wouldn't say that it ya did
@@lovethesmellofracefuelinth7374 LOL yeah a little girl with a '96 Cobra and '04 Marauder. No the Cuda was trash. It was a pathetic attempt only made to beat Ford to the punch of "first pony car produced." It wasn't sporty, not marketed at a young audience, and offered a wimpy V8 that made under 200 hp. Not a pony car. Total garbage
The Dodge Challenger made a better launch. But the built truck sounded good in the first race
The last race...whenever you line up against a Foxbody Mustang especially a Notchback be ready to get yo ass whooped...those cars are so perfect to turn into a racecar...light weight short wheelbase just perfect
I really don’t find burnouts and drawn out staging rituals to be very interesting. If you’re gonna include too much context you might as well show them paving and prepping the track as well.
@Brandon Bell
I have an extensive history in racing drag and stock cars. Burnouts and nitrous purging are not racing. Two cars going down the track is racing. What’s next. Are you going to film the drivers putting on nomex underwear?
@Brandon Bell
Is this some new word game now? You said burnouts are racing. I corrected you. Now you change it to burnouts are competition. Can you explain what kind of awards the NHRA, or and other drag race sanctioning body, gives out for a burnout competition? I’m waiting to be dazzled by your impressive racing knowledge.
I am aware of burnout competitions in Australia and many local trailer parks across the land but never saw anyone collect a check or a Wally for the best burnout at a national event.
@Brandon Bell
I’m going to take a guess that you’re about 12 years old and still dreaming about your first car. I probably wore out my first set of Goodyear Eagle drag slicks before your daddy got his license.
Uhh, whats happening here?

people gotta stop gatekeeping and shaming folks who buy a nice lil performance car. as long as they’re not assholes about it, let me enjoy their damn fun. all cars can be fun if you make them fun.
hey who knew i can take that Lambo in my cheap 335i :)
Bro I swear that I always think that the built cars have flash starts but they are just so insanely fast and have insane torque
