This disgusts me because 4 years ago my brother attempted suicide by overdosering in Benadryl. Thankfully, he called his friend, which saved his life, but to think that people are doing this for fun is sickening and outrageous.

Out of all the tiktok “challenges” this one is the one that had enraged me the most. 2 years ago I tried killing myself by overdosing on Benadryl. I remember the exact moment i was bawling my eyes out in my room while recounting and repeating in my head why I should do it. I luckily got help from a friend and went to a hospital. Even with an iv drip I was hallucinating and in and out of consciousness for god knows how long. Why would people do this.

When I was in a rough spot in my life and was seriously considering suicide, I overdosed on about 15 tablets of Benadryl. I would say I was lucky that I made it out of that experience okay, and now seeing that as a “trend” on tik tok is actually extremely triggering
my cousin did this when he was younger before tik tok was a thing cause he was dumb and he a bad panic attack cause he thought he saw spiders all over the walls and flying around him hes 3 years older than me so i pretty young at the time and living in another state but we moved back and when i heard this story i laughed so hard cause i honestly thought it was funny
