- Mysore (or Mysuru), a city in India's southwestern Karnataka state, was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1399 to 1947. In its center is opulent Mysore Palace, seat of the former ruling Wodeyar dynasty. The palace blends Hindu, Islamic, Gothic and Rajput styles. Mysore is also home to the centuries-old Devaraja Market, filled with spices, silk and sandalwood.
Street food refers to food or drinks sold by a hawker or vendor on a street or at other public places, such as markets, fairs, and parks. It is often sold from a portable food booth, food cart, or food truck and is meant for immediate consumption. Some street foods are regional, but many have spread beyond their regions of origin. Most street foods are classified as both finger food and fast food and are typically cheaper than restaurant meals. The types of street food vary between regions and cultures in different countries around the world. According to a 2007 study from the Food and Agriculture Organization, 2.5 billion people eat street food every day. While some cultures consider it to be rude to walk on the street while eating, a majority of middle- to high-income consumers rely on the quick access and cheap service of street food for daily nutrition and job opportunities, especially in developing countries.

Small shops and eateries serve some of the best food. They are pocket friendly and taste reasonably good. The thick biodegradable plate in which the dish was served is made from arecanut/betel/paan tree leaves and they are eco-friendly. The dish that was offered during the Hare Krishna procession as "Prasad/God's offering" is called the puliogare. Puliogare is rice dish made with a spice mix comprising mainly of tamarind and other spices are added to enhance its taste.

Gogo the way u ate rice bringing the rice in the middle way is the right way of eating. You have almost become perfect now 😂 . While eating dosa use only one hand, you shouldn't use the other hand its to drink water or serve other things or hold ur camera.

You had many kinds of foods. For me only things you missed are tikki puri (where you ate Churmuri) and probably some bajji/bonda stalls but you ate some of the right street foods that many haven't (like the poori). The noodles you told were sev.
It was great to see the first band (don't know what it was, probably something related to the palace) and the ISKCON procession later.

Visit to sepoy grand hotel, hanumanthu biryani in railway station road , eat Mysore Pak special in mahalakshmi sweets, have dose (breakfast) in mylari dose and have Indian thali (lunch) in ashirwad grand , non vegetarian foods in rrr hotel (must visit) and fish in poojary fish land

Please watch the zingwibrothers videos also, I am sure gogo will enjoy because these boys are really foodies.The puffed rice in Mumbai we call it poha, very light on the stomach and can be prepared in 5 minutes. Just wash the puffed rice and drain it, in the pan heat oil and put mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, let it crackel, immediately put little turmeric and little salt and onions stir it lightly and add the puffed rice, 1tea spoon of sugar and sprinkle some coconut. Give it a small stir on low flame . Cover and put the flame off after 2 minutes serve hot. Kay let gogo eat, please don't say he eats a lot.

For every item, chutny, saambaar, kurma etc, you can have extra servings free of cost. In fact the dosa, you eat, was not properly made, over roasted. The fellow should have been more careful.
