31 DAY ADVENTURE CARAVANS GRAND CIRCLE WESTERN NATIONAL PARKS GUIDED RV TOUR | DAYS 21 THRU 25-EP244

- Äas pĆidĂĄn 5. 11. 2022
- THE 31 DAY ADVENTURE CARAVANS GRAND CIRCLE WESTERN NATIONAL PARKS GUIDED RV TOUR of 9 National Parks, 4 National Monuments and dozens of attractions, events and activities was on our RV Travel Bucket List for years. At first, we thought we would book a personalized route ourselves, but to pack this much sightseeing into only 31 days would have been a daunting task, and required planning a year or more in advance!
Life always seemed to get in the way, and made PLANNING a trip like this seem impossible because of all the "timing" issues. We just couldn't commit to things that far in advance. We finally realized we would NEVER be able to pull off planning a long, 31 day complex trip like this unless we purchased a pre-arranged and engineered Adventure Caravans Professionally Guided RV Tour that had all the trip planning already done for us. This allowed us to book it on a lot less notice, and when the time finally felt "right". All we had to do was sign up & show up!

On January 22, 2021, the US District Court for the District of Columbia issued a decision in Price v. Barr determining the permit and fee requirements applying to commercial filming under 54 USC 100905, 43 CFR Part 5, and 36 CFR Part 5.5 are unconstitutional. In response to the decision, the National Park Service issued interim guidance on February 22, 2021, to manage filming activities. Under the interim guidance, filming activities may require a permit if they would impact park resources or the visitor experience. The National Park Service intends to update regulations addressing filming activities that are consistent with the outcome of Price v. Barr. Once effective, those regulations will replace and supersede the interim guidance.
âLow-impact filming" is defined as outdoor filming activities in areas open to the public, except areas managed as wilderness, involving five people or less and equipment that will be carried at all times, except for small tripods used to hold cameras. Those participating in low-impact filming activities do not need a permit and are not required to contact the park in advance.

We have been binge watching your videos. A caravan sounds like a fun way to go! It was great to see the places we have already visited. We are half timers but not snow birds. - Jim and Sue
Awesome! We LOVE THE FOLKS that go back and WATCH OUR PREVIOUS VIDEO'S! Each video took 1.5 hours PER MINUTE OF PLAY to produce, so it is really appreciated. Our "Playlists" organize all of the video's by STATE and some of them by SUBJECT MATTER. If you are brave enough to start all the way back, you will definitely see our style and technique has improved, and we now have much better cameras and microphones. Thank you so much for your support!
I usually don't watch 40 minute yt videos. I'm glad I made an exception to enjoy 40 minutes with OJM. See you next week đ
Glad you enjoyed it J! See saw and did so much on this Adventure Caravan is was extremely difficult to stay under a half hour!
I love watching your videos. Every time I see one I feel like Iâm right there with you. Love you guys!đ„°
You're the best Allen! Every so often we actually feel you riding along!
Another great OJIM video! We recently visited many of those same areas, but we sure didn't do all the things you all saw and experienced! The caravan makes it so much more complete, and I see the value in all that they do. Doing a caravan is now on our bucket list!
Sue & I talk about all the time how "different" the caravan traveling was for us as we edit this series. It made us get up and get going earlier. We did WAY more things. The RV went places we didn't have the courage to go to before. All our moves to the different locations were well planned and efficient. We saw more things in 31 days than we typically saw in 6 months. We had our travel mates to share it all with. Was it super cheap? No way,........but I am running out of life! We are so glad to have taken the plunge and go on this tour. Sue & I am certain all these "revelations" for us have actually been demonstrated during our videos of this adventure. We will be on more of them!
We loved monument valley, its so picturesque. Watching your video just brought back all the memories, thanks for that. We also did the tour it was awesome
Thanks for visiting and sharing that you liked the same tour as well. As we made these video's and looked at what we did in the time allotted,......we were dumbfounded. At 70 years old, my clock is ticking,..... We are glad to have knocked out all these places to experience,.........because we have plenty more to do and see.
I believe this is the best of the caravan series. I have to say as well, WOW, WOW!! I tried to explain to my son about a fifi when we were on my truck, I guess you just have to have some miles on the body parts to understand how wonderful they are
Glad you enjoyed it! I have been using a fifi since I was about 25 yr. old. I am 70 now, and SO GLAD I DID. Knees are still OEM.
Howdy guys! Beautiful scenery - Beautiful memories - With beautiful friends.
Glad you enjoyed it Ben. We will be hooking up with Pat & Paul again in CA in December 2022.
Another awesome video! The views and those rocks are amazing. That bridge must've been wedged in there! Thank you for taking us along on your adventures! Take care
Thanks for watching Leon!
Wow. That camp ground Monument Valley is amazing. The views were stunning. I have to say, this is your best youtube series, period. I love travel and hope to follow in your footsteps in a few years. You both are an inspiration.
Thanks for the kind words Dave. We try to show it exactly as it is,........no more, no less. This lifestyle is what you make of it, and what you can do as a couple working together.
Very enjoyable to watch the Adventure Caravan with OJM. Thanks for sharing.........
Glad you enjoyed it Bryan.
Wow!!! Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you! Cheers Ed!
Hay youngsters, my wife and I just found your channel and love it. The both of you make it really look like a great adventure âšïž We are going to go back and watch your old videos as well. Life is good when your getting the most out of her. Safe travels đ our new friends. The Banks Family đȘ
Welcome aboard Banks Family! We LOVE THE FOLKS that go back and WATCH OUR PREVIOUS VIDEO'S! Each video took 1.5 hours PER MINUTE OF PLAY to produce, so it is really appreciated. What a great response thank you đ đ we are on board and looking forward to your next adventure... Stay safe
Thank you guys for your response I've been enjoying you guys channel for a while thanks so much for your response and this tour you guys are taking me from my home and travel me I live in beautiful Savannah Georgia whenever you guys are in the area again would love to take you guys to dinner I am a 32-year RV or myself
No problem Kevin,..so glad to have you along,........Savannah was something else!
Thanks for taking us along on this adventure! We actually stayed in Paige, AZ for several days in September and wish we had known about the rafting adventure. Now we will definitely go back!
That is awesome! We like our return trips to places as much as the first time!
My first episode of yours aside from the âhow much does it cost to full timeâ video (weâre hoping to load up our kiddos someday). Really like your style. You two are so cute! Great balance between fun and informative. Of course, it doesnât hurt that you visited one of my fave places, ever. Born and raised in N. CA, I grew up going between Tahoe and Powell. You gave me so much inspiration to get the family to Powell so they can experience it. â€
That is awesome! Loved your comment, which has given us inspiration as well!
A most excellent video......and the selfie of both of you was quite good!
Thanks!
What a great caravan tour! I will look back at your first video for details. Perhaps next year...
Please do,.....and plan ahead. The most popular ones book well in advance. The trip we were on only ran two groups of (18) customer RV's and (2) Staff RV's in 2022. In 2023, they will run (3) trips. One for Tiffin Motorhome Owners & two for all the rest of us! That's only 36 "opportunities" per YEAR on the Western National Park Grand Circle Tour for the "non-Tiffin" folks!! We had been on a waiting list, and lucked out 6 months prior when some folks canceled.
Me and the Wife love all your videos, we plan to retire in a few years and your videos are really helping us plan. I just hope we have as much fun as you do.
Best of luck! Just work together and make all your plans as a team and it will be a dream,.......
That looks like Grand Canyon Railway RV Park. We were there last spring. They use to run the steam train up to the canyon on holidays. Put on your to do list they have a vintage diesel train that is a lot of fun.
The Polar Express Christmas Special Train train must be a blast for kids!
Love the shirt Markđđđ
Logo and Design on back,.........you gotta love it.
You folks are owesome. Love your videos!
Thanks so much Alex for the kind words!
Love the raft trip!
Boy the bullship was frying on this video!
Thanks for stopping in Gary!

Great video as always fantastic views I can see why you opted to do this trip it looks like a fantastic time and not too many headaches keep up the great work thanks from Wisconsin
You bet Robert!
Just beautiful! Thank you for sharing. I have been binge watching your videos and love your sense of humour.
Thank you so much William! We like binge watchers to enjoy our older videos,...........they need love too!
Super video!
Thanks for checking it out Linda.
Woohoo! Fun videos!
Glad you like them!
Do it again! Loved watching this.
We will be doing two more Caravan Series this year. Stick with us,...
Wow! Another Stunning Video of breathtaking views.
Many thanks guys! It is so hard to take it all in at the time. So glad we have the channel so we are forced to look at all the footage during editing again 35 times.
Great video! Glad you made out from the river and they didnât really leave you behind. Lol! đđđ Looking forward to watching the next video.
Thanks đ
Thatâs a beautiful view of the canyon of where you were camping. That looks like fun caravaning. Looks like a nice Rv park too!
Yes it was,...........you really did get behind Sherri! Make sure to take a break in between episodes!
@@OurJourneyInMyles
Ya so sorry I got behind. We had problems with our house being full of water and and had to keep moving in and out of hotels and all that. And then move back in our house and they it took months before we got done and then they didnât fix our house right! They left a hole in the wall. It was a big mess. Iâll get caught up soon!
You guys sure did cover a lot in 31 days. Did you feel rushed through the National Parks? The Caravan seems like so much fun but we just move a bit slower than that when we travel and can't really imagine traveling that many miles in a month.. What great places to visit. The views were breathtaking. We are so excited to check out some of those places. Can't wait to see your final videos next week. This is a great series. MaryđFred
We moved 9 times in 31 days. The moves were 107 miles/114 miles/111 miles/154 miles/133 miles/161 miles/134 miles/174 miles and 83 miles. We would have preferred slower as well, BUT WE WOULD HAVE JUST SAT AROUND! That would have raised the price just so we could rest and relax more. I say let's hit it while we still have the energy!!! Plenty of time for the rocking chair later! We loved the efficiency of getting so much in during the 31 days. We never know if and when we will ever be back,.....
Thank you for breaking it down for us.The drive days are defiantly doable and moving nine times not as many as we thought that you had moved in the 31 days. Totally agree with do it while you can. The caravan looks like so much fun and we are investigating it. Fred complains that I don't sit around anywhere. He likes a little more sitting time than I do anywhere that we go. @@OurJourneyInMyles
Nice you had a bus tour to go around touring the monuments . Nice they Indian jewelry there and a shop too. Also pretty nice they shot westerns there. This all good to know!
Thanks for watching Sherri,......
@@OurJourneyInMyles
No problem! I love watching you! You are fun to watch!
Unbelievable we may have just missed each other but a week or less Thomyt
It is so funny how we are all going to the same places and campgrounds!
Great view of Monument Valley!
It really was! The entire 31 Day Adventure Caravans Grand Circle Western National Park RV Tour was one breathtaking view after another.
@@OurJourneyInMyles
I ca. tell its Brest taking to me! Some day I hope to travel there.
I just got off the phone with Tony Bennet's lawyer who is complaining about you using the Tony Bennet tune "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" without permission. I advised them that your lyrics and melody would never be mistaken for the iconic Bennet tune. Upon second thought Tony Bennet's attorney said that if they won the lawsuit they would probably only get Myles and Tony doesn't really want a motorhome. We visited Glen Canyon last March and did the raft tour, as well. A stunningly beautiful triple Fifi video.
We just left NIRVC $18,756 lighter,...........$12,500 of which was for a new Oasis Unit. Tell Tony I have been beaten down badly,........and this puts my "repair and maintenance costs" at about $1000/month year around, on average. If the publicity of of him confiscating the rig increases our subscriber base to over 200k, we will not have to quit full time living and the channel. Hopefully subscriber use of our Amazon Store would increase, as well as folks using the Paypal Tip Jar we created. We will then look forward to Foretravel signing us up as their ONLY Brand Ambassador, where we just pay the interest on a 20 year note they hold. This would allow Sue & I to then STOP the OJiM channel only when we finally can't remember how to use Final Cut Pro. As it stands now, we may have to start taking Sues Social Security. We had hoped for waiting till she is 70 in five years. We appreciate having you on board as our de-facto pro-bono, although long distant, attorney of record. I always like that even while RVing, you wear a tux. I assume you are keeping an eye on the disposable cup guy!
Another amazing recap
Thanks Barbara,....
Really enjoyed the video! Mahalo!
Thanks! We will be in Hawaii in January!
Were you having your Oasis system repaired / replaced at NIRV?
Where was your RV park in Monument Valley? We stayed at the KOA just outside the park there. Monument Valley was stunning. We believe it would be a national park if it werenât on Navajo lands.
We agree: the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, including Page and Lake Powell, is beautiful.
Yes,.......the boiler unit developed a leak,...........but I opted to also replace the distribution box AND control module to start out again as new as possible. $12,500 with labor, free coffee & popcorn. Left $18,726 lighter. Episode to come.
@@OurJourneyInMyles Wow! We had a few things break in our rig on our four month long trip out west, but nothing that expensive. We stopped by Red Bay, Alabama, for repairs and our annual chassis service. Owning and maintaining a class A is not for the faint of heart (or wallet).
The ad leading in was super right wing. Guess RVers like that. Love you guys and your videos.
We will take any ad video $upport we can get! Running a YT Channel takes a lot of time, money & effort. Another way to help support your favorite YT creator is to use their Amazon Store link for all the purchases you would be making anyways. You ARE NOT restricted to only the items in that store. They can buy ANYTHING!
You can activate a FRESH LINK off the channels website top banner dropdown menu or the CZcams Channel Amazon Icon on the lower left of the channel banner.
A person has to do this EVERY TIME YOU START A âSHOPPING SESSIONâ, and should never bookmark a link. The link needs to be fresh to have a new tracking âcookieâ associated with it.
A person can end up buying toothpaste, a drill press, camera, #D printer, E-Bike or virtually anything. Any purchases would help support the channel of your choice with about 3%, and this is done without increasing the cost to you.
Sue and I really appreciate the EXTRA fooling around and efforts folks are taking to help support the channel via their Amazon purchases!
đ Mark mark mark you are hilarious. Sue how do you like being with the Chan manâŠđ
I will answer for Sue in case she doesn't see this. "Meeting Mark is the best thing that ever happened to me,...........besides having my wisdom tooth pulled."
Hi Mark and Sue! Sorry itâs been a while on watching videos. Just been so busy with life and all that good stuff. Iâm going to try and get all caught up if I can. I saw you were in my home area Las Vegas. I would have loved it if we did a meetup. But itâs ok! Next time if you come this way! Going to go back and watch video.
Welcome back Sherri! Regular life is way more fun than CZcams! Watch us on a rainy day!

You are so funny I love you guys! Love watching you! Always will.
Mr Mark, Iâm pretty sure they used gorilla glue and double sided duck tape to the structure support anchor points on that bridge. đđ
Epoxy concrete anchors at work used to do wonders!

Using those pads for the knees is nice to use but itâs funny calling those fee fees. Unless they are called that. And funny how you were on New Mexico side going to
The rest room and washing and sanitizing your hands them your in your Rv on Arizona side. Itâs funny how you worded that Mark. You are funny! I missed you guys! Laughing with you both! đđđ
We love to share the gift of laughter.
@@OurJourneyInMyles
I can tell it shows. I missed laughing with you. And the videos as well. Hope you both are in great health.
Great video⊠talk soonâŠ
Thanks Kirk.
Thank you for sharing! So beautiful. What campground is that near Monument Valley?
I hope you understand that we are trying to respect some aspects of Adventure Caravans "secret sauce" in packaging the best places, best price and best side trips for their tours. We can tell you that starting in a great spot like St. George allowed us to get into position 3 days early to see all sorts of things. And the tour "ending city" was AWESOME enough for us to stay an additional 2 days.
Adventure Caravans only books campgrounds with restrooms and shower facilities available. Class B and truck campers are welcome, along with pull behind travel trailers, 5th wheels, Class C, Super C and Class A motorhomes.
Mark, I was wondering if you will be covering a one year review of the SoftStart you had installed last year?
We most likely will not review it because I do not have the desire or skills to really show folks the real world oscilloscope data, peak current draws and all the compelling backup electrically reasoning behind the product. We refer folks to Mike Sokol who is the "defacto" RV electrical expert. See: www.rvtravel.com/?s=softstartRV On his channel he has tested and demonstrated the merits of the units. HE is why we trusted in the SoftStart product enough to have them installed by National Indoor RV Center on all three of our NEW air conditioners.
I was there April of 1976 (23 yoa), it wasn't much more than the actual 4 corner marker.
We loved the stop,......and have the T-shirt to prove it! Thanks for the comment Joe.
Wszystko W. Porzadku (Skip)........wasn't he a famous Engineer from desert region of Wisconsin?
I believe we have a few statues and at least one park in Milwaukee honoring him,......
Really enjoyed this video. How far in advance did you reserve this trip?
When we called in January 2022, we had to get on a waiting list because it was fully booked for the 8/22/2022 trip. In March of 2022, we got a call back that 2 coaches CANCELED and we were able to get on the tour. As you saw in the videos, all 18 customer slots and the 2 staff slots were taken.
Thanks another great video. Sure makes us want to sign up for a caravan. Is a Alaska caravan in your future?
Not sure yet,...........we are in the talking phase of that possible trip! Taking a Caravan to Alaska is the ULTIMATE backup plan in case things don't go well.
As a resident of the area, the 4 corners monument is not in the right spot. You only were in 2 at a time
Wow! Great fun fact. I had to look it up. You are correct! www.ngs.noaa.gov/INFO/fourcorners.shtml#:~:text=But%2C%20instead%20of%20a%202.5,west%20of%20the%20actual%20monument.
The levels are low. The lowest they have been. Itâs sad that they sang find away without it costing money to get more water for the 11 states that are getting water from the river. I was laughing at Mark with his bird calls or animal calls.
The water levels were so low they were heartbreaking!
@@OurJourneyInMyles
I agree! We save on our water here at my house.
