Enjoyed your show Christy. I'm of Croatian nationality,actually first generation American & love to eat & make Sarma ( cabbage rolls). But we ferment the cabbage heads first usually in late fall so that its ready to make for Christmas. You as always did a great job.

I am Slovak, polish, Lithuanian, german .. Russian and maybe even Hungarian.. I grow up eating some of the foods that are similar to what you had I miss the way my grandmother would make them she made plenty of bread dishes I was looking for that Fork twirling and was glad to see it.. have fun visiting your family take care

I fully understand your fork twirls when you tried out the Russian cabbage rolls. I absolutely love them! When I was in university studying Russian my professor would occasionally bring some homemade cabbage rolls to class. I should have got the recipe at the time, but I was so involved in eating them that I forgot to ask her for it!
