12:11 nobody wants to be left out of a joke. In one of the world wars planes used to come back riddled with bullet holes which are the red circles on the plane. Engineers wanted to put armor on the parts where the plane got shot but later they realized that the planes returning were not shot in the vital parts like the engines or cockpit and that's why they got to fly back. They needed to put armor on the places where there weren't any bullet holes. I think it's called survivor ship bias. So apply that to old music.
