2024 ‘Rosa, Rosae, aesthetic declinations’, the creative process

For Sant Jordi, we’re projecting ‘Rosa, Rosae, aesthetic declinations’ for the first time at the Sagrada Família, an art piece created with AI.
Creation of the piece started with a database of hundreds of pictures of roses and Gaudí’s architecture (techniques like trencadís mosaic, shapes and materials from his work, etc.). The new images were generated using various artificial intelligence tools.
Projected on a huge LED screen, the art piece is in direct dialogue with the sculpture of Saint George by Josep Maria Subirachs.
The visual piece is accompanied by a composition for organ to create an artistic experience full of shapes, colours and music.
