I suggest still having pillar supports whenever you can and work on the stone walls pro tip you can use the log sled for stones
Think all you need for the silent alarm is just to have a cannibal or mutant step on the rock and you set it back up each time, unlike other electrical traps.

There's a better area where you can build where it's flat you didn't have to build your base on a hill
