I personally feel that in order to respect the Tiger franchise, we should use vfx only when necessary. The first movie feels so real and the experience is much better, even Tiger Zinda Hai had scenes which are pretty much practically done with a hint of vfx and it looked amazing. But with this movie Tiger 3, too much vfx made the franchise lose its charm. Either make the vfx shots as subtle and realistic as possible, like it was in Top Gun: Maverick it all felt and looked real. Which sadly wasn't the case with Tiger 3. Now the budget is of course not as much as the Top Gun: Maverick movie, but we can always focus more on the rawness and realistic shots and actions rather than over the top explosions and unnecessary vfx in every scene.

I think it was okay till they planned to do the jail escape scene.. that BG did not look good at all! But I guess vfx definitely saves some money, although the tech itself os pretty expensive, but since this is in-house dept of yrf.
😂 a great example, top gun maverick even with practical stuff had every flying shot fully remade with cgi, the climax is basically an animated movie. also where in tiger 3 did it looked bad, you might think its unrealistic just that

I watched the movie yesterday and loved the action, as it was well-excuted, unlike films such as Salaar, Singham Returns, Jawan (which doesn't mean Jawan was bad - it had some great action scenes), or other poorly executed action movies. At least they tried to make it look as realistic as possible; the person hit by Salman won't fly 1000 meters, which is already a significant improvement. On the whole it was good movie. Thanks to the whole team for the movie.

Ek tha tiger action scenes were choreographed by practical effect.you can stilll see how they designed those Stunt .those stunts were raw & realistic.now a days people is tired watching these VFX movies . problem with this movie is lack of direction . director didn't present salman khan the way kabir khan present him in ek tha tiger . Acting sequences were boring in tiger 3 ,too much vfx destroyed the whole movie.looks like they shot the whole movie in studio .they need to learn from kabir khan & Ali Abbas jafar,how they create their vision.
Yes Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi's performance was very good but wrong choice of director and weak script made the movie weak.

That's why they were celebrating success of this movie so early! That 300cr budget rumor was a bs spread by pr teams, actual budget would have been 150crs (excluding actor fees) and they had already gained a lot from OTT/satelite/music deals etc. BOnwas just a cherry on the cake!
