He also took Mastered SSJ2 higher than Goku's SSJ3 when Beerus hit Bulma. Vegeta perfects forms better, while Goku reaches new forms faster. Today, they are on even ground in Base Form and Vegeta actually beat Goku in a duel recently in Base Form and it's canon so honestly all Vegeta needs to do from here is free his mind from so much hatred and keep learning from Beerus and Whis and he will become Goku's equal in their Final Forms. Apparently after the Granolah Arc, Goku's MUI goes up against Vegeta's UE and it's a battle for the ages.. I believe Goku just barely wins but it literally takes everything he has to do it, and Vegeta punishes Goku the majority of the battle but he is not completely used to UE yet while Goku has nearly perfected MUI. By the end they both are on the ground, and both pass out from exhaustion after the fight, but Goku gets back to his feet just before passing out and Vegeta does not... so Goku barely won by that account only. Whis and Beerus had a bet on who would win if that tells you how close they are by then in power. If this is true, then Vegeta has truly caught Goku in power you might as well say.
Vegeta progresses through raw determination and hard work. Goku has plot armor to push him through...

Vegeta crushing Toppo when Toppo was steam rolling 17, Golden Frieza, and Gohan speaks volumes. It was my favorite part of the tournament.
This was probably the greatest moment of him show casing his character. He strives for power, in this moment he clearly shows he subconsciously restrains that power. Then moments like this he learns his power is more than his pride but also driven by what he cares about.
Damn this hits different it makes me feel sad for vegeta rather than hyped for him.....

Vegeta has always strive for power and strength, but when he met Bulma, she strengthened his heart, and he loves her more than himself, and that is why I think Vegeta is the strongest fighter.
I love this scene so much!!!. It perfectly encapsulates who vegeta was and who he became and shows just how much he has evolved and changed as a character over the years.

I ressonate so much to this character that it makes me rethink of my life. Vegeta don’t show it but he is in pain. He saw his planet his home his pride his strength his brothers and sisters destroyed for shits and giggles. He had nothing but perseverance. He found something of himself with a pathetic weak human such as bulma by chance still too proud to admit too stubborn to admit that a fighting spirit is more then What you are born with.
Tbh looking back on dragonball Z his and bulma is wholesome as fuk. Inspirational too. Everyone grew up despising him as a kid thinking he always belonged in second place.
Only for us to realize he was always there never abandoned his family (as a father of four that sort of dedication is inspiring) while goku was fukking around leaving his wife to pick up his slack.
I now have complete apathy to goku’s story his immaturity and great respect for vegeta’s story, it was human and relatable. (Which is super ironic as the writer never liked vegeta 😂)

Im just waiting for a DBZ abridged line, tournament of power. Vegita is struggling to stand against Jiren. Beerus jokes perhaps the solution is to slap Bulma again, worked last time. Jiren soon very confused hearing, “Thats my BULMA!!!” Jiren saying who as he stands up. The Jiren says something like I actually felt that. Ill slap this Bulma if it gets me a real fight. Then Vegita snaps again this time getting stopped in his tracks.
