looks very good , we fry the small fishes with bread crumbs . vegetables and butter instead of oil
That is interesting share the recipe
@@sandrapeachymw For the vegetables :
Medium size onion copped ,Sweet Yellow pepper cut into strips ,Sweet Red pepper cut into strips
Large carrots cut into thin sticks, 2 medium zucchini cut into sticks, 2 cups frozen green beans
For seasoning
4 tablespoons soy sauce, a tablespoon of honey , black pepper .
Heat using a wide pan with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and fry the onion for about a minute.
Add the sweet peppers, carrots and zucchini and cook over medium-low heat for about 10 minutes
Add the green beans and cook for another 5-10 minutes, until the vegetables soften slightly but not too soft . Season with soy sauce, honey , and black pepper and mix for about a minute to absorb the flavors.
For the fish
Use butter to fry ,
A handful of chopped parsley
1 chopped scallions
Bread crumbs for icing
Dip the fish on both sides in bread crumbs and fry them in a pan from all directions until you get a golden color
Place the fried fishes on a bed of parsley and scallions.

Keep this videos coming they are great ❤❤❤
Lol we have baptized you into the nsima culture. Its my favorite food. And glad you learned something. The orange stuff is royco my favorite soup thickener
And you are right the mbaula gives it that extra touch
me wow ok never heard of that...hmmm I will have to see where we can get it xxx you have me so hungry now 😁😁❤❤❤
🤤🤤🤤
Am living the life lol
That’s the only Usipa i like 😋😋
And oh Kale has nothing i repeat NOTHING on the Mw one(dont want to get yo video demonetized lol why those vegetables are called that will forever be a mystery. Anyway mwatipasa njala 🤤
Hahaha I have asked the same thing but hey as long as it delicious am good. And you are right the kale is a scam
I’ve heard nshima can also be cassava. Is maize nshima or cassava sima more common?
Well yes kinda. In west Africa they make future from cassava. And the tonga tribe in malawi make Klondike which is nsima from cassava
Some of the foods are similar to what we call "Soul Food" . The fish is kinda like fried Sardines. The vegetables you said in native language and also kale, is like collard or mustard greens. The soup reminds me of Mexican Salsa, the white stuff reminds me of what we call " Grits". But Grits is a little more watery and some people put sugar in it but i put butter and salt. Not too much different.
I should believe the food has many similar properties. I noted from my Caribbean friends and African American friends
What do you miss the most from Costa Rica?
The tropical weather 😍
