It's almost two weeks after this video premiered, and I can confirm that General Sam has affected the game :D
The last three raids I've done on factory as a scav, I've run into PMCs where I wasn't sure if they were scavs or PMCs. Even when/if getting the drop on them, because they were wearing trash gear (stupid hats, bright armor, bad weapons), I paused to verify, spammed Russian, and got only silent comms and loud firefights where I STILL wasn't positive if I was dealing with a player scav who was willing to sacrifice his karma or some disguised PMC. You have won this wipe, Sam. "There are no pacts between lions and [rats]."
Did anybody else appreciate how he nails the lighting in each green screen so he blends into the tarkov setting? Cause god damn it looks clean.
It's great when creators put effort into details like that. The little things change a lot.

He's wearing sandals with socks - but he put effort into the color coordination, that's Sam in a nutshell. He'll do something that's downright smoothbrained by conventional standards, but try to pull it off with some internal sense of stylishness. And that's fashion, which he probably doesn't really care all that much about generally speaking. You think he's not putting actual work into learning how to use the shit that makes him money?
If Samson cares about something unconditionally, it's making money. The fact that he's a degenerate, but unabashedly competent in his degeneracy is kinda his gimmick. It's part of the charm.

Seeing the improvement in the production and content in these videos since the skyrim and fallout days really makes me feel nostalgic. Theres a thin line between mental illness and genius, and Sam treads the line with ease.
I love how Sam just comes in once a wipe, drops some super rat strategy that will most definitely ruin the game, & then quits playing Tarkov until the next wipe.

The day after released this video, I ran into what I thought was a scav in Customs 3rd story dorms. He was a pmc and he opened marked room and gave it all to me. A very nice man.
I like Sam's content, humor, and most importantly, but i just love his intros where he's jumping off the train, crawling through a pipe etc
I like that he added the ânothing life threateningâ text talking about the surgery so we knew it was ok for him to joke about, while also being like âI know you guys wanna make sure everythingâs okâ. Very wholesome.

I had the most romantic scav+ scav run my boy was begging me to shoot the guy the whole time and usually Iâm the one to shoot first ask questions later - this one time I cooperate and have a lovely scav run sharing loot with a random - we goto extract at railway , at 2 seconds left to extract he shoots me, just so I donât get any loot he didnât extract either because my boy shot him in the dome, but it was like Why ? What do you get out of doing that ?? Literally wasting all of our time - since Iâve been extra hesitant with other scavs I refuse to let them stick around if they wiggle , but more times I have friendly interactions as a pmc with scavs for the coop extracts
Actually they plan to add pmc karma in later updates, and instead of it being pmcs vs scavs it'll be usec vs bears vs scavs
It doesn't really make sense for pmcs of the same team to kill each other and get away without any consequences, which is why this system is being made
