Christina Ricci is famous for Wednesday in The Addams Family and Addams Family Values, but is also well known for her roles in Casper, Monster, Buffalo ’66, Cursed, Pan Am, Now and Then, Speed Racer, The Lizzie Borden Chronicles, Black Snake Moan, Sleepy Hollow and upcoming projects The Matrix 4 and Yellow Jackets.

Christina Ricci is a legend those two Addams Family films are classics. She dont ever have to do another film IMO.
I'm 37 and I'm sure many people my age all grew up with Christina back in the 90's. I was watching the scene in Addams Family Values when Amanda role plays a drowning victim in the water when Wednesday and Pugsly are at summer camp. When Amanda makes herself drown in the water and Wednesday says "I can't swim", I died laughing!!! It was so dark and hilarious!!!
Ricci is great. The 2 Addams' Family movies are classics. Pam-Am deserved a second season. Ricci should be the 1st consideration for Morticia if there is any sort of reboot.
I agree about the two Addams family films, they are classics, but I don't agree that she should play Morticia. Angelica IS Morticia, and Christina IS Wednesday. Her playing Morticia feels wrong.

Casper is my favourite movie from my childhood. I wish there were more Casper questions. The movie is so touching, I wonder what her favourite scene is...

yesss omg she mentioned one of the funniest and most underrated christmas movies The Ref was a favorite christmas movie of hers! i've watched that movie every year around xmas time since its release in 1994.

I just watched her in 'Pumpkin' again, such a great movie! I think it's a love it or hate it film, but she was awesome and hilarious in it!

Christina Ricci, you legend. "There are a lot of you" is correct grammar and that's a miracle.
I can't stress enough how irritating it is to have people with some kind of impairment consistently show up at these convention panels and end up asking questions just for the sake of making things awkward, or in some cases, more awkward than they already are. It became routine at conventions featuring those connected to Power Rangers, and it's infuriating to find it here, too.

She's had a long and diverse career, but I wouldn't say she's ever been a 'bankable' star and that's 90 percent of what Hollywood cares about. They don't care if people can act or not, just that they get people to watch their shit. The other 10 percent is pushing narratives during Academy season. Not that being bankable is a measuring stick of worth either, because all it typically boils down to is flavor of the month actors and actresses. Point being, you'd never see her headline one of those stock, totally forgettable, interchangeable comic book films because the film wouldn't make back its money with her as its lead. Again, not that it matters because all those summer blockbusters bleed together now as they continue to remake/reboot them every other year IMO.
I thought it was kinda scummy of the one 'fan' that asked her about empowerment in relation to when she played the girlfriend of a notorious serial killer. Way to put her on the spot in a public forum so she has to give a politically correct, stock answer or be killed on social media because some nerd decides to splatter her name if she gives the wrong answer. So she can only give one answer to that kind of question and that's the safe one, which is what she did.
I'd like to see her return as an adult Wednesday Addams, but they seem content on going in a different direction with that character now to be more mainstream and current, so I don't see that one happening. She's definitely one of the real actresses and not one of those flavor of the month types. She deserves more credit than she gets, but probably doesn't because she wasn't more of a mainstream star.
Somebody needs to explain to Christina that the mask protects others from her, not her from others.

You can't believe the mask filters the air, do you? The mask stops saliva and other particulates from escaping from you.
