I love Van Winden's and I love 6 packs. BUT, fewer and fewer plants come in 6 packs. The choices used to be endless, that's no longer the case. 4 inch seems to be what all growers have converted to. Whenever I see 6 packs it puts a big smile on my face.

Maybe the garden center lady could give us seasonal tours, so we know what to look for at our garden centers. She has a great amount of knowledge and seems very helpful and friendly!loved her personality! Know one works at a garden center to get rich! Lol I would go broke!!!

Just discovered division of nursery plants! Great tip to include. I successfully divided a gallon lantana that had two plants in it, and a cane begonia that had four plants to make up the one showy nursery pot. Now I look at the soil surface more closely to see what’s really in that pot.
I've been gardening for decades and decades but I learned something new today. I love that about gardening! I'll be buying bareroot trees from here forward. Thanks for this video topic. Very helpful!
When i go to the garden center, I put on ear buds and listen to music. If I see a plant i like I take a photo of the plant tag, so I can look it up online to learn more on growing it . Soon you will not feel overwhelmed anymore. I started ordering online with Proven Winners, they package their plants well, and if you have an issue with a plant, they have a guarantee and they will gladly replace it, you just need to sent them a picture of the plant. I had to do this twice, but it was my fault, not theirs. Good luck on your new hobby!
Janey, you are doing videos that no other you tuber I follow are doing! Because of all I have learned from your channel, you are number one on my daily video watching. BTW, nasturtiums are edible, (flowers and leaves) and they self sow! I wish they were perennial! They are so pretty!

*My tip is to know your garden centers delivery day. My customers always knew if they came Wednesday they could get plants fresh off the truck.*
