I encourage everyone to read this book Annihilation of caste(also Riddles in Hinduism) by Dr. Ambedker, you will be enlightened and will enhance your knowledge, please don't read with affinity towards your religion, read it as a case study being equanimous. It is one of great book which helped me to be less stupid.

This concept of "Annihilation of Caste" was written by Dr.Ambedkar especially for Non-dalits, not for dalits, because Dalits are caste victims not caste supporters. Really this should be taught to backward classes.

மனிதன் மனிதனாக இருக்கும் வரை பிரிவுகள் அல்லது சாதிகள் இருக்கும். யாராலும் அழிக்க முடியாது. மனிதன் தெய்வ நிலை அடைந்தால் ஒழிய சாதிகளை அழிக்க முடியாது.
தவறான கருத்து. மனிதன் மனிதனாக இருக்கும்போது தான் ஏற்றதாழ்வுகள் உடைக்கப்படும். ஏற்றத்தாழ்வுகள் உடையும்பொழுது சாதிகளுக்கு முடிவுதானே ஏற்படும்.

As long as man remains man, no one or organization can eliminate casteism. Only when man becomes divine, will there be no caste. It is totally absurd to say caste will one day be eliminsted. Caste divisions are based on graded inequality with upper and lower notion. It is because our religion Hinduism and it's gods justified the caste divisions. This is a hate speech though with lotta efforts it is camouflaged as speech for establishing humanity. It's a simple common sense that at any time any rule that's harmful to the people around will not be accepted as 'rule of living' by the people who live at that time of reference. Simple question ..can we accept anything that can be harmful to majority of us as a rule at this era? .Having said this people will catch me on the word 'majority's and again pick up quarrels. There cannot be any one rule or belief or value in this world that all can agree. Hence ' majority again becomes inevitable to exercise certain order or structure for maintaining peace and just in community living. Hence when people started to live as groups, and started to delegate occupations and hence branding or classification based on that was inevitable. Hierarchy will exist and inevitable. May be it's a bitter truth . Hierarchy exists everywhere. Based on the ' drive' of a person that is: money, power, achievement or self actualization, recognition and belonging, one pursue and achieve what they want. These psychological drives are only named as ' varnas' in vedas . Psychological drive is a proved scientific fact and one cannot argue that it doesn't exist .
Your thought is correct in someway but view is 100% wrong.
Hierarchy will exist but it can never be unhealthy, rigid and above all totally inhuman. If so, there is absolutely nothing wrong in resisting and annihilating it in a civilized society. This also forms a part of your so called Psychology, naturally !
Anybody has the right to achieve the reward of one's hard work and productivity, but that can never be allowed to be harmful to others. Competition to strive and achieve something can be taken optimistically but hierarchy altogether gives a different meaning in your connotations. Hierarchy doesn't mean it gives one the supreme authority over his/her fellow beings. That is what Varna System does. That is what is called as Brahminism too. (PS: Not Brahmins !)
Please be clear in it. Your concept is totally against healthy competition.

Even the great Social Scientist and renowned psychologist Abraham Maslow (even adored by Sigmund Freud) only the gave the Hierarchy of 'needs' in your so called scientifically proven psychological drive, not the hierarchy of 'human beings'. There is a very clear difference in it !

Similarly , ur purpose in life decides ur need and corresponding fuel or drive . There are five sheaths in our humane body..all the five sheaths produce energy. The combination of all these give kinda energy decides who u r and what u can become. Also search for pareto principle. 80-20 principle..the innermost spiritual sheath contributes 80 of one's creation for who and what. What we become doesn't really contribute for hierarchy .. but who you are definitely elevates you whether you like it or not. Sasthras or vedas which were the rulebooks in olden days guided one like how various knowledge guide us now for our uplifement to become better and better person. You and I did not exist when there were no medical facility or advancements. Hence We really never know why such rules existed. May be outta fear for diseases ....y not ...later got twisted? .. anyway I strongly believe in one thing. At any point in this world, whatever suitable or beneficial for the community can only become a rule. Again arguments can arise about majority and minority. I am not going to get into that. This is how the world goes...whether v like it or not....accept or not...understand or not ..believe or not... changes are the only permanent thing in this world. Changes are happening. ..it will continue. .
1. People from head, shoulder, thighs and feet = No Problem
2. Different People different type of occupation = No Problem
3. People from feet (sutras) are into menial works = No Problem
4. Your Community living Explanation = No Problem
5. Your Occupation Explanation = No Problem
6. They should not study (if u do so eyes will be removed from u) = Problem
7. They should not hear to one who studies (if done molten gold will be poured into their ears) = Problem
8. They should not pronounce any study materials (if done molten gold will be poured into their mouth) = Problem
9. They Should not by heart any study materials (if done tear from the heart to bellybutton and let them die) = Problem
10. They should not have save money (if they had so-called upper-class can take it away) = Problem
11. They should not buy land (if they had so-called upper-class can take it away) = Problem
12. Killing them is almost equal to killing a Frog = Problem
13. They were born to suffer, live an unpeaceful life, their occupation cannot be changed = Problem
14. They should not marry whomever other than their community = Problem
15. They should not enter temple = Problem

All of the 15 Points which I have mentioned is just from the Manusmriti (the book is available to the public anyone can read).I agree to you on the twisting the meaning or wrong interpretation (unintentionally or intentionally).. We will have 2 assumptions and process those facts.
1. Assumption One -> Some of 15 points which have mentioned are completely wrong and no discrimination and torture was done to anyone according to your [office example] since law and order was there to protect and treat everyone equally
2. Assumption Two-> Some of 15 points were mentioned are completely right and people were discriminated, were not allowed to buy land, save money, study etc etc....
Let's be practical in the year 2019, please ask your friends, colleagues and other people you know, for how many of the people's great grandfather had studied or had land or had a house of their own... etc. consolidate the answers.... if majority of people said that their ancestors had then I am wrong. If the majority of people's ancestors say that they didn't.. then it's very clear and evident that they had been forcefully put up in that situation... Please do ask some people and get back.. coz I had done that and found out...
