How Harvard Suddenly Discovered Free Speech...

  • Greg Lukianoff, First Amendent lawyer and President of the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE), unravels the double standards surrounding issues of free speech and political neutrality at Harvard and other prestigious institutions like it. The current public debate follows the harsh backlash against on-campus protests and public statements in reaction to the recent Israel-Hamas conflict. Lukianoff exposes how Harvard often exhibits a bias during turbulent political events but retreats to a guise of neutrality when convenient, rather than authentically committing to free speech and political openness.
Lukianoff co-authored "The Coddling of the American Mind" with Jonathan Haidt and recently released a new book, "The Canceling of the American Mind," co-authored with Rikki Schlott.

Hello friends and families! This is a clip from an upcoming interview with Greg Lukianoff that we wanted to share right away since it's a really good supplement to the video essay we published on our mothership channel, Emergent Order. Reading Greg and Nikki's book The Canceling of the American Mind was so deeply troubling as a parent of a high school senior that it frankly confirmed my worst fears about the state of academia... and that was all super-charged by the obscene explicitly pro-Hamas support that's broken out across these schools.
If you want to see the full essay/monologue, check it out here: czcams.com/video/tST57kWTrlI/video.htmlsi=JGPLj7cJjsf1yrLm

1- Hamas didn't kill 1,400 ... (I can't say it, if I do, "free speech" will be cancelled. Even the Israeli government recognizes that among the dead, only 1.200 were ...
2 - Several J... who were on the places of the Hamas attack, already testified that the IDF was shooting indiscriminately at the places, and killed several .... So, obviously, even blaming 1,200 deaths on Hamas, is a lie.
3 - Both numbers, 1,400, and 1.200 are "round numbers" which means, they aren't real. For now the Israel government should already know exactly how many of their citizens died there. But they don't tell; they stay with their fictitious numbers.
4 - It seems also, the whole burning of corpses was done by the IDF, that's why they weren't able to realize that at least 200 (another round number) of the bodies were supposed "Hamas fighters".
5 - About "accountability" - Neither the Israel government, nor the brothers in this video take accountability for their lies. The "free speech" idea defended by the two brothers above, obviously only reaches so far as they like it.
6 - So far, also not a single evidence of any "raping", but dubious "testimonies" from people with dubious character. About the killing and raping, the Israeli government isn't doing any investigation, and not allowing any independent investigation. There was never any talk about justice, only "retribution", and "revenge".
6 - The fictitious "raping" is "heinous and barbaric", but not a word about the "elimination" of 20,000 Palestinians. No comment about that.
7 - "Not acts of war, these are not true military forces". Well, with that argument, every civilian "eliminated" by the IDF is a common crime of m..., because, if it is not a war, it is simply m... and g...
8 - Over the last 15 years and before Oct. 7th, Israel "eliminated" over 6,000 Palestinians, stole their land, destroyed their homes, but, what their desperate victims did, "is not Israel's fault. Really "convincing"!
I could go on and on, this videos is .... from the start to the end.

Ever since 2016, I was made to believe that Jewish Americans were at risk from Trump and his followers. I remember the days after the election results were very scary as people on social media were posting pictures of swastika grafitti and threats to synagogs were rising. This was all reason to resist against Trump and his voting base. Now? I guess it is okay to use swastikas, grafitti "gas the jews" and chant for the extermination of a Jewish nation because it is coming from the approved political group.

For schools that wallow in and indulge concepts like "micro aggressions" they sure allow mega agressions against conservative speakers on their campuses.
Schools can easily create citadels of free speech by adopting very strict student codes of conduct and enforcing them through facial recognition technology. If you threaten, shout down, or otherwise misbehave, you will be kicked out of the school. It's not complicated or difficult. It might cause several tumultuous years but after that, a new normal (free speech) will be achieved.

    What Did IDF Tell Snopes?
While Zedeck, Haddad and others claimed to have heard about the beheaded infants from Israeli soldiers, when Snopes reached out to the IDF about the stories, spokespeople did not confirm in so many words that the purported beheadings happened.
We asked multiple times if any children or infants were beheaded, and, if so, how many. We received the following response: “We cannot confirm any numbers. What happened in Kibbutz 'Kfar Azza' is a massacre in which women, children, toddlers and elderly were brutally butchered in an ISIS way of action," referring to the Islamic State militant group. "We are aware of the heinous acts Hamas is capable of.”
