I was airlifted in a large helicopter that had 2 doctors on board. I was in a car accident and fractured my skull that included a severe brain injury. Fortunately they transported me to Oregon Health Science Center hospital that was the one the most advanced trauma centers in America at the time. After 10 days there they transferred me to one of the best Brain injury rehabilitation centers in Seattle Washington. After 9 month of live in rehabilitation I was able to slowly go back to work and live a normal life. Just prior to this accident I had bought a new health insurance policy from Blue Cross and stipulated I wanted the best policy they had to offer!!! This entire process cost me very little money out of pocket. Always buy more insurance than you think you need!
