Love this Sophia! You are one of the bloggers I really look up to even if you're not in the same niche as me at all and that's because your consistency and hard work really show and it's inspiring and motivating to those who are still trying to get there full-time. There are no other gurus to look up to in blogging than the ones who have found great success in it. I started getting paid to blog towards the end of 2020 and it has been such a unique (part-time) job. There really is a future behind blogging!

Thanks very much for sharing these hard truths. Any real business really takes time and you need to invest money in order to be successful. My advice to people is that: don't look for cheap ways to make money. Because, soon, others will discover those ways tool. Try to become a specialist or skillful in hot cake businesses, and you will be successful.

iâm actually in a really good position for blogging. i can do it full time(kind of), iâm already bringing in money in other ways,(already have an online course & making sales), iâm ready to take a course to learn more. (iâm going to sign up for your bundle course). and yes plug your own course! itâs ok!

@@BlaQFireNation so Iâve written a few blog posts about the courses. I took the course in January, and I overhauled a lot of my blog content. Iâve been blogging since 2017, but could not get above 12K ish users a month.
Then in June, traffic started steadily climbing. I hit 45K users this month.
SO, for folks just starting out - youâre going to have a lot of work to do. That said, I wish I had had her courses when I started blogging in late 2016 // early 2017.
I don't know if anyone else from the 9-5 tribe has divulged this teeny little secret but... you NEVER leave at 5 and not take work home with you, hahaha! If it isn't stress from difficult bosses/coworkers, it's work related stress. So yeah... you've made a lot of right choices!

I'm only at 1:09 into your video, and I can tell you, as someone who busted their ass on a blog that never took off (I did over 100 blogs...): Blogging IS NOT EASY. It's A LOT of work, all the time. I got burnt out and quit many times. When I first heard about blogging, ppl made it out to be "an easy side hustle if you like to write.....". Well.... blogging isn't about writing, it's about SEO!! A blog isn't a high school essay. If nobody can find your blog via SEO, you could be Shakespeare and nobody will see it and you def won't make money (if you wanted to monetize your blog). My blogging failure totally changed my view on blogging. If you decide to start a blog, just know that you are automatically signing up to learn not only SEO, but the actual science and structure behind writing blog posts. Blogging isn't normal writing. Not by a long shot.
So how do you learn the SEO part? I love to write but now I'm scared lol
@ You literally have to Google it, read about it, watch current CZcams vids about it, etc, because SEO is always changing.

I heard of blogging in 1997 & wrote blogging software in VB5 for the network admins in 1998. I wrote a CMS for a customer using ASP in 1999.
What opened your eye to the future of blogging?

(I know you donât really mean it butâŠ) No! please donât ever say (not even kidding) youâd wish to be at a 9 to 5⊠I work a 7 to 6 (which is way worse than a 9 to 5) and I still take work home with me and Iâm not even working for myself đ so yeah, I bet having a blog is a LOT of work but at least you have the satisfaction youâre doing it for you and no one else †(Iâm starting mine right now after getting inspired by you, thank you!)
