Yes exaclty. I have been there. It was frustrating to see that I was almost the only one who was freaking out cause of them. And I am not even a fan. I just like the music and I love festivals.
I think this is typically for germans unfornately.... I am german, too... I always thought that I am "overacting" haha... Now it seems to me that I am actually completely normal in that case 🙄😅

Well, I just want to say that I became a musician thanks to these boys. I started to play guitar when I was 13 and the first song that I learned was Wake me up when September ends, thanks Green Day. Nowadays, I teach music and when I do it, I'm super happy

I only appreciate this era of the band in retrospect. At the time, this was HUGE departure from the Green Day I knew and loved. Nearly 20 years later, I consider this their finest moment.

I've spent 15 years thinking he says "Lights out" in German at 2:42. I always thought it must have sucked for them to have to say their usual phrase for that part of the show in the middle of a sunny German day. Until now I realise he actually says "Live 8" and now it seem so logical I can't believe I didn't realise sooner.
