Governors are brought and paid for office holders who are put forth to support policies of people who give money and access. DON'T count on polictians during an emergency.
Never count on politicians for anytime you need. Emergency or not.
Always somebody else's fault. I bet alot of those folks could have just stayed off the interstate. I guess they just need to do like they do in Kansas and Colorado and just shut down the interstates to keep these yo yo's home or off the road til things let up.
Hahaha! What an f-ing joke! Get that Gov the hell out of there!
@Ralph Goober Hey moron, The governor is in charge of things like snow removal. Wake up!
@Ralph Goober Get real loser
@Ralph Goober They would have handled it better.
Quit crying. It's mother nature finally calling us on our abuse to her planet.
SHTF........Be prepared for it at all times. End of story
Not much of a storm lol come on people would laugh at you in wisconsin .
It’s is winter what the f##%# are you people
Swift?
Well, maybe we can encourage another 20 million new undocumented migrants to cross the border this year to help jam up the roadways and put an even larger strain on our supply chain and limited energy supplies, that should fix the problem, Right Brandon?
Cry cry it's winter
So they couldn't activate the active component of the Guard to at least fly in and drop food and water and maybe even fuel?
4:41.....True Dat
How was it being stranded by all of those electric car drivers?
at Least i Dont Have to put up With That Crap.
OMG...he had to pee outside his car! AOC will sponsor some new legislation I'm sure though... don't worry buddy.
The world is like no one cares way to long waiting
Tim Kaine is obviously a man of the people after this if you didn’t think he was before. And his humble ride did not go unnoticed by me.
He didn't have a choice. Everyone was stuck.
maybe now changes to vadot will happen
I'm pleased to simply know he drinks Dr. Pepper. I have high hopes for him personally.
We live in a nation whose leaders refuse to do anything to even secure it's borders, What makes you think they can secure a highway?
Agreed. Build the wall!!
I honestly wish they'd quit salting the roads and go back to plow, cinders and sand. If you don't have 4WD..you don't go. I absolutely can not get a car to last 20 years in the Northeast despite my best efforts. And you want to talk about deteriorating infrastructure? chlorides are super bad for bridges, rebar, etc. Where are all the environmentalists concerned with the run off into rivers?
301 best route instead of 95
Driver's that I watched on this need to learn how to drive .all these people live in a bubble that 2 inches of snow wouldn't be a snow day here in Maine .people are soft
That's worst than when it snows on Seattle.
Uhm you actually watch the weather before you drive.
Poor 4wheelers
Where's everyone sgitting and pissing ? 🤪
Odd ... maybe if more people had common sense they would pay attention to weather reports and had supplies in their vehicles in advance.
People this does have to happen
There were huge warnings from weather forecasters on East Coast before this storm. Did anyone heed the warnings? Many did not. When a crisis happens, get out the Patriot handbook and create a solution, don't rely on the government. In this situation, cautiously turn around your car and head to the nearest on ramp as an exit. That's what we do in Oregon.
Well, tell the governor if it takes day's to call out the national guard, he ain't doing his job.
@Ralph Goober this was a little bit more than getting wet in the rain.
What are you learning Bruce? Well, absolutely nothing, kind of like any other news broadcast.
I was taught to eat my own poop in situations like this..
Good thing to have a 4x4
No bathrooms oh dear
People car can stop pretty well a simi can't stop on a dime it take 4 foot ball field to stop a truck
Soneone pass a bicycle or 2.
Please always carry food water blankets and bicycle trust me you'll sweat in minutes. So sorry you all are having problems. God bless you guys . And if anyone can snow you guys out of there.
They'll be fine.
I heard that tractor trailers got permission from their companies to disperse food to people! Not sure how true it is though!
They don't need permission to do such things.
be glad you had a car to sleep in at all... had to have been just horrible.. and horrifying ... cant imagine how these people felt staying in their cars all night.. i bet some got their cars smashed so much they didnt have a car to sleep in!
Put salt on the roads and drive with winter tyres.
Way to pass the buck governor.
Wonder how many EV's were stuck in this mess and how did they fair?
That governor should be ashamed of himself
you can't expect a man who voted for post birth abortion to be ashamed of anything.
Yup, Tim Kaine should be ashamed!
The snowflakes in the cars were melting faster than the snow.
Welcome to reality, That fantasy world you think you have been living in where everything is always fine and dandy only exists in your mind.
I think the world already ended and we just don't know it yet. The movie "The Matrix" seems more and more real every day.
Truck drivers likely navigating I95 inappropriately for the road conditions. Too fast.
It’s a good thing I always ride my snowmobile instead of my Jeep
Police nowhere to be found when needed.
Police are worthless. Sad but true. When you need them they're always giving excuses as to why they can't do anything.
I don't feel bad for him
What the hell were u'all doing out there, Maybe u'all were not comfortable @ home
I saw a car in front of the rect
They were warned, and got out in it ANYWAY. Remind me to worry about it, when l get the time....
No state troopers? Oh, remember "defund the police"?
But were they defunded though?
That's what happens when the State depends on Magnesium Chloride instead of Salt & Sand.
What could have been prevented
I guess the governor shouId have sent an officiaI Ietter to every citizen and traveIer Ietting them know what the news toId the rest of us the day before.
Va doesn’t want to spend the $ to clear the roads.
