Last sunday ,I got a call from my friend and told me that she has been tested positive,she was posted in COVID unit few weeks ago at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. Just from her voice I could feel that she is already depressed and sound very sad. She told me that she couldn't believe that she has been tested positive, don't want to talk to anyone, don't want to go home , don't want to inform her parents and friends about the result . She just want to live alone , hide herself somewhere no body knows. At that moment I realised that they go through lots of mental and emotional problems. She feel guilty of getting infected , scared that she will infect others and not able to express her problem to family and friends. I encouraged her to be strong and prayed for her over phone. So friends, let us all show love and concern towards all the infected patients and family. Let us not discriminate them and let's continue to support all the frontline workers.
I pray and hope that she(your friend) get well soon and may the Almighty God be with her. ❤

so true iam also a returnee from shillong and here at my village in mangkolemba the GB and chairman said me not to come home and said that they can't risk it they dont understand that i have already stayed qyarantine im kohima 3days, mokokchung16days and mangko 8days still 4days left to finish and now that the GB and chairman is not allowing me im at an empty house under ADC office provided by the EAC no wonder where i will go after this. its better to die than being surrounded by this kind of people

I have conflicting view here. Having a high rate of mild symptoms and a low death rate doesn't mean we have to be complacent. We have to take precautions at all times so that there is no community spread of the virus. We do not even have 10% of the medical facilities that the other states like Maharashtra, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh are enjoying. Once there is a community spread of the virus, which the asymptomatic carriers can pass onto vulnerable persons, it is going to be catastrophic. We cannot compare ourselves with the rest of the world in home quarantining too because we Nagas lack discipline. We have a knack of always breaking the rules of the game. So, I may sound negative to some but as I said earlier, complacency should not be instilled in us because it will have serious repurcussions in the long run. (Eg. Brazil and USA)
