For you it will always be James…it love his emotions and pain that you can feel when he sings…he gives you his all and you can feel all of it…you know that he’s gone through so much in his life and he puts all of it in his music and uses it when he sings and I can relate to that since my own life also hasn’t been a bed of roses either. I always gravitate to artists that sing and write this type of music. Artists like James, Jelly Roll, Lauren Spencer Smith, Benson Boone, Lewis Capaldi, Clinton Kane, Jamie Miller, JB Saxe, Noah Cyrus, etc.
You need to react to James Arthur’s cover of a Thousand Years…he made it his song and I will never be able to hear it any other way or be able to hear it by anyone else again.

Yeah, Putri's back on your channel! For me with this song it's quite different than for PHS, maybe because I had never heard of James Arthur before, only after I heard Putri cover this song and she blew me away with that I went back and listened to the original and some more James, but he doesn't do much for me, for me this is Putri's song and some James did a cover of it, but if I wanted to listen that song Putri would be my place to go, definitely and without any doubt. Anyway I enjoyed the double reaction, James gave a beautiful introduction to the song, but again he couldn't leave a lasting impression with me, as soon as Putri started to sing I had forgotten how James sounded... More Putri anytime for me... PHS suggested her new collab with Alan Walker and Peder Elias - why not, it's a banger for sure and Alan had 0,5M views on the Official MV within 8 hrs, suppose it's way above 1M meanwhile... yet I'd wait a few days because I've heard that there's a performance video about to be released soon in which I hope we'll get to see Putri, because the MV is only showing footage of Alan... @@Misse82 I do not want to disrespect James and I think I said he did a good job. I've already discussed with Tray whether there may be a male-female difference in perception of music, especially on such an emotional song. And you have to take into sonsoderation it was Putri who introduced me to this song, maybe you had such cases yourself in which you got to know a cover long before the original. Sometimes I even prefer covers I get to know long after the familiar originals, Haley's "Creep" is such a case, for me far better than radiohead... I always say "for me", and I don't expect every one to go my way, that's just the way it is... Generally I'm much more into female vocals than into male singers with very few exceptions. You don't need to understand my opinion as long as you can respect it, and I don't object to you calling someone your "diamond", as long as it's yours... Peace!

Great reaction! I WAY prefer James' performance here. Although I have just finished watching your video and Putri was the last one out I still more or less only remember HIS performance. That's what my heart, soul and guts tell me, so I'll run with that. But Putri is an amazing singer. Feel absolutely free to react to her and Alan Walker perform his song "Who I Am". 50% Indonesian and 50% Norwegian makes for a very good vocal mix ♥♥♥♥♥
