tbh, as a person who loves eating raw cucumbers, I've had korean cucumbers (which looks like the type she had, usually lighter green with a gradation to dark green) and they did not taste good lol maybe it's good specifically for korean dishes when made with other ingredients but definitely not raw. They are less juicy/watery and kind of dry tasting, if i remember correctly, the texture reminded me a little of styrofoam. maybe she should try a different type if it's accessible to her
