Do it! I used to be terrified to cruise! My biggest fear was drowning, so the idea of being at sea.... scary but it was the best experience ever! Before we even got off rhe ship I asked when we were going again haha, been in 8 now and got the next one planned

I've seen a lot of Sun Princess tours, and this video is the first to bring up a practical point I haven't seen mentioned before. I can't believe Princess decided to make people walk through a smoky casino to get where we need to go! I'm allergic to smoke! I thought with the crew-served buffet that Princess was indicating they care about their passengers' health 😪

Excellent idea. Just mentioned to another commenter that Martha has put “sweet Daisy Duck!” into second all time favorite position for me. Also, YES! Imagine a lot of people with asthma (or children) won’t be booking that ship.

I love the toned-down color palette of that ship. Most ships are so bright and busy. This looks elegant and calming.
Ben any good buffet will not let you reuse the same plate because of the risk of cross contamination. eating utensils easily transfer germs to your plate. If they let you reuse your plate, germs can be transferred to the serving tongs or even the gloved hands of the sever.

A Ben and David vlog on Sunday is always worth waiting for! We have been excited to hear your thoughts and comments of the new Sun Princess. We will be sailing her in November and can't wait! A perfect day here in southern Ontario-sunny and warm, so we switched up our viewing to the patio, accompanied by our favourite beverages! Cheers guys! Always a pleasure.
Crispy sausage advice - when you're back at home, Air Fry some Cumberland sausages, first for 8 minutes on normal Air Fry mode, turn them and give another 8 minutes. Then, choose Max Fry and do 5 minutes before turning them and cooking for a further 5 minutes.
They come out an absolute treat, with a nice crispy outside, but still nice and chewy textured inside. Game changer, for me. Love sausages that are well done.
Fav desserts:
1. Carnival Melting Cake - super chocolaty, warm, molten midde.
2 Baked Alaska on HAL Alaskan cruise, it's not on all of the HAL itineraries. Swiss meringue so firm yet creamy, delicious ice cream and base cake layer was wonderful. All components are delicious, but the meringue "takes the cake". 😉
I was on the same ship and bumped into Ben and David at our first port of call. They were so kind to me as I nearly lost it! Then I saw David the very next morning while we were both picking up a coffee. We had a nice visit, but I didn’t see either of them again throughout the 10 days. I’m loving this video, of course!

You probably found it later, but there is an elevator that will take you to the back to that infinity pool so you don't have to go through the dining room.

You guys are utterly charming. I'm not a cruiser but watch all your videos. You guys are not only great, honest ambassadors for the cruise industry, you're great honest ambassadors for cruisers. It takes real professionalism, enthusiasm, and character to master both. And you do so splendidly.
I struggle with this ship! Some areas are beautiful, some look very cluttered, and some look almost clinical.
I used to toss and turn in my sleep, and my Dad called me a "cranky sleeper" 😂

My favorite desert is always bread pudding, with a bourbon or rum sauce, my Granny made it great, takes me back 50 years. I've been on ten cruises & my favorite bread pudding was on a Celebrity ship & runner up was on a NCL cruise. I'll be on the MSC Seashore in two weeks checking on their bread pudding & in December the Sky Princess getting that bread pudding..

My fav desert is a crème brulee...anywhere! The Edge did a good one and so did Quantum! 🙂The ship looks a bit beige for me but looks lovely and bright. My partner is almost blind so bright ships are for us {T'is why we didn't like Edge); I like the idea of the night light - we have them at home.

I made sure to return from a trip to watch this video as soon as I got home!! It's my Sunday treat!! This video really reviewed the ship so well, from food, decks, layout issues, shows (or lack thereof lol), and more!! We have same balcony type room and the pics online do not do it justice for the calm, bright and modern relaxed vibe!! And who doesn't love a big couch? We were on Princess cruise line in November for a month around Australia and Sarah was part of the cruise entertainment and I think she is now the director for the sun princess. She was fantastic, fun,friendly and miss her.
