Im shocked, they really came out a week before early access launch where everyone was still a little wary of the games direction and the throw down one the best post launch roadmaps I've ever seen for a game. Well played KT well palyed.

Wow you weren’t lying man they were so low key and behind the scenes but this news has now changed up the game to the point I’m not even on the fence anymore. These guys knows what they’re doing and I can’t wait
i bought the game because i love the franchise so much since the start, but now i am REALLY excited.
Good stuff, but i wonder why they hold back on the housing. It used to be a fixed location, that could be bought by many. "Owning" didn't mean no other player could also live there. So why not just designate a couple of houses to buy (floating sign, as usual), create a walkable indoor space in 3D, a garage room, and be done with it. Nothing more, nothing less.
I understand they think it wasn't super in demand nor necessary for most drivers, but inviting friends to my garage and visiting theirs was always a highlight after a long cruise. A good change of pace.. talk about cars, upgrades, dealers nearby, admire their paintjobs... etc. Sometimes we even planned routes between houses to make a "garage tour".
so basically they only need to create like 10 closed off instances (lobbies) with a garage and give people an option to buy "access". It doesn't need to be better than it was, although i respect the sentiment behind their hesistation, however the solution seems simple enough to just do it, while they try to come up with an original twist on housing.
Bro the focus on a driving game is DRIVING.
Houses was cool but literally spent little time in them, they'll figure out a solution in the future (Preferably a group garage hangout / clubhouses etc as that falls more in-line with clan activities)
They wanna do it right give them the time they are doing it perfectly

Maybe you can get a similar experience at gas stations and meet up points, chill there and switch cars to show off.

This is the game I’m going to be playing heavily before GTA 6 this is the game to play. I knew I wasn’t going to be ready for more information it’s just so much content already loaded up after launch. Like a whole new island a few months after release are you kidding me this is insane my PS5 about to be on all day everyday!!!!! 😭🔥

Literally all we want is real estate and to be able to buy our own houses, we don’t want “clan houses” or shared houses, let us go to dealerships, buy our own houses, decorate the houses, invite people over to them. Thats what made TD so good……

My jaw dropped to the floor seeing the new hand animation for the steering, holy cow.
I’m also impressed but it seems like there’s a mismatch between the steering wheel’s position and the wheels’ actual position similar to what’s in Gran Turismo. But of course it’s a work in progress feature so I’ll make my judgement when it actually drops in its full form:)
@@UsgBifJgpwltA well imagine the hand movements when youre going from lock to lock in half a second because youre playing with a controller. It cant be fully 1:1 realistically.

@@KK001 Assetto Corsa managed to pull it off just fine. And besides there’s nothing wrong with limiting the max rotation speed to what’s humanly possible.

I really hope they provide a more “lifestyle” feel in Ibiza. More shopping destinations/avatar customization spots in comparison to HKI “business competition” feel. More side missions need to be added like the transport/car service/ top model/ hitch hiker/ adrenaline junkie/ catch a cheater…. TDU is almost coming full circle!!
Ya they just turned me away. No casino and no home buying. That's what made TDU. It's a glorified Forza horizon

Amazing announcement. I think it would make sense if they continue to expand Ibiza's map in the following years, Eivissa is a great starting point but it would make sense to include the rest of the map.
Yeah I want to as well drive around the rural parts of Ibiza and visit the other towns or cities on the island.
After convincing my mom with a promise to get excellent grades I have gotten her to buy the gold edition. The game being set in Hong Kong is very important to me because I am from there.
The only reason I went with buying Gold Edition was because I have never spent money buying a game excpet for xbox game pass and stuff. This is a game which I am dedicating my next 5 years on and means that I should pay for the exclusive contents of the content to get the most of the experience.

I'ma be honest, I was pretty skeptical about this game seeing how I've never played Test Drive. I got the chance to play the VIP beta, and wasn't so happy with it. However, after looking more into the game and seeing the improvements from Nacon's video, I made my mind up and decided to get it. Few days later, after watching the post launch info, I'm even more excited than before
I just LOVE the honesty and clarity when they communicate about their game, I think the project is in really good hands.

Strange as I didnt think this game was gonna be played by myself for very long but now I think it might be my new favourite purely based on its content
I'm glad they adressed most of the worries everyone had. The fact that these things aren't coming at launch says a lot about the state of gaming today, but I'm happy that they are coming in the near future

the huracan isn't 'fixed' lmao, thats a prototype and it still has bugs, which is why they will release it all at once, plus once car and the rest not done is just poor, let them perfect it and we can see it introduced nicely

Pretty sure they are using inverse kinematics for the hand placement on the wheel. This will work for any car, not only the lambo.

Having Ibiza (or part of it) back is cool. I'm really gooing they expand it. To get that nostalgia of TDU2 would be really cool.
Hopefully, later on, we actually get Oahu back, but on a full scale. That wohld be my dream. Oahu would just make it THAT much bwtter to me.
Still wish the draw distance was further/clearer. But if thats what we have to dacrifice for huge maps, then I'm okay with it. Same with reflections on cars looking too blurry or grainy. But if it's a sacrifice needed to make huge cities, then okay.
And hopefully i can get my fanatec wheel feeling right by the 5th. It feels weird no matter what i do. I have to turn it like 10 degrees til it finally turns the car.

Not sure if you know but in the beta on xbox,you can kinda change display settings from locked graphical to performance mode by hitting X restore all settings on video screen. I've no way to test if it actually changes anything but you might

As for houses, I think it should stay broadly the same as TDU1&2, BUT.. what if we could invite players to our house? Walk around garage, Play poker etc etc.. like house party at the Sharps or Streets CEO’s house maybe. 😮 now THAT would take it into the modern day, yet stay true to the TDU feature we ALL know and love.

I just hope we get more low tier, “affordable” cars that the normal car enthusiast would be able to afford, I like the high end cars but sometimes you just want to hop into something you would actually drive in real life.
Don't add that little Ibiza, postpone it to year 2 and make Ibiza as it was, really big, I also hope it has the airport.

After seeing the improvement video they released last week. I changed my pre order from the standard edition to the gold edition and I managed to get a couple of hours in the final beta. I still own TDU and TDU2 and this feels like test drive to me. The handling model is fantastic and they have the best car sounds in the game. A couple of audio bugs need ironing out and the A.I traffic is abit unpredictable but it's over the top and cheesy as hell. I love it.

This video reignited my hype for the game a lot. The return of Ibiza just let me know that I NEED to play the game. I still can barely believe that the game is gonna come out in just over a week, I haven't been keeping up with the game for.. Well, a year or two really. I just occasionally checked the news every time they came out, and would be hyped for a few days. But I enjoyed the demo, I will definitely be loving the game. The roadmap also really motivates me to want to play the game more knowing that there's gonna be so many new good updates
I don't if it's me but at 3:17 on the Ibiza map it shows some roads outside of the city. Could it be that they might expand the map in the future?🤔

Larger maps is all I want. I never got bored of cruising on TDU 2. My mate would drive to my house and we would just drive for hours then drive to one of his places. There are so many different landscapes. Miles and miles of roads. Some I'm still yet drive on. How long did it take everyone to drive on all roads available on the beta? How many times can you drive the same road in a different car before boredom kicks in? I was never fussed about the cassino.

Luckily they had a "Free To Play" weekend on Xbox, i played for like 30 mins and deleted it shortly after. It was not for me lol, i couldn't stand the interior mirrors that you can't see and i don't like that the map is on the right and the accelerator ( or how ever you called in English ) on the left.
Nacon its ok to have the same DNA as the first 2 games! People want that!! AND IMAGINE IF THEY DID HAWAII AGAIN? But I cant get excited if He said that about the Houses... it gave me an incentive to play this game for ungodly hours.. and now as an adult I need an incentive to play for hours that I dont have like I used to have. Ill wait. Thanks tho.
Yeah sure some do want that but they probably wanna make it a bit more special not just copy and paste the two older games cuz that will get boring. I’d rather have them add their own spice and give us something new with the houses

Its been hurting my soul how badly this games been getting dogged on by people, hopefully this video will help clear some of that up. Loved TDU2 and have days worth of play time on it, solar crown is getting handed that torch now haha

Finaly, all of my doubts are now clear. The thing I've got the most dissapointed is that we are just getting the capital of Ibiza not the full 1:1 scale of ibiza like in TDU2 but I guess it's becouse it would've took another 5 years, maybe 7 for just the map alone so it wasn't worth it. What I am the most hyped for is, not the house, not the steering animation, not the casino but the mother F-ing *BIKES*. What I hope for it's not just the main stream ones like the yamaha R1, Kawasaki H2 and H1, BMW S1000RR, Harley Davidson, Ducati Panigale and Desmodieci. No, I want allot of different types of bikes like in thr crew 2 and motorfest, like the bmw gs r1200, my favourite bike, the triumph tiger or the ducati multistrada, choppers and custom bikes to ride with your "gang" (aka me and bro). There are allot of types of bikes and if TDU can add allot of cars, so they can do it with bikes, the crew did it before

That roadmap is good, I would have rather seen a map expansion into northern HongKong rather than recycle Ibiza. Houses should come early.

With the houses and apartments, I loved the solo experience of TDU2, just feeling like a rich guy winning races, buying houses and cars, it doesn’t need to have a load of online interaction with the property and having a community with the hotel, like I said the best thing about TDU2 was being a lonely rich guy haha. I hate this obsession with forced player to player interaction, would prefer a solo game.

It's great to see Ibiza return in December, kind of a shame it's just a small part of Ibiza. But I do hope for the future they will expand upon Ibiza in the coming years so the whole island is avaliable to us to re-experience

Why not the whole Ibiza island?
It is telling that they focused more on the Casino than they did player housing. Very disappointing. I like that they at least plan on working it in later but at this point I'd rather let them have another year to get it figured out and have it included at launch, and as single player/offline.
