Donna and Sarah are the quintessential best friends of the Doctor, no doubt about it. I’ve missed Donna so much and am so glad that these two are back. Catherine and David’s real friendship shines as brightly on screen as ever.
Thank you so much for this recap - definitely great vid to get ready for the 60th. The scenes with Wilfe still makes me tear up. Donna is still to this day my #1 companion

Nice thorough explanation of Donna's story. I'm quite excited to see Catherine Tate and David Tennant teaming up once again, since they're my favorite Tardis team and a little part of me always longed for some closure to their story. I know some people are concerned about the new specials undermining the tragedy of her exit, and I get it, but... I'm choosing to have faith that RTD will do their shared history justice.

Hands up if you think The Doctor, Donna, Shaun, Sylvia, Rose & Wilf will not put up with any of the 60th anniversary specials villains for long?
My opinion is that Donna will be the regenerated Doctor Who with Ncuti Gatwa in the role. Tenent will either be trapped or sacrifice himself in some way to save Donna ending the timeless child line and beginning anew as a new doctor going forward. Fullfilling the odd Destiny of Donna Nobel to become the Doctor Donna.
