Maybe a solution for the heater complaint is that instead of you not running the heater is for the complainer to turn off the volume and turn on the CC (closed caption) and read what you are saying. You shouldn't have to freeze in your own basement doing videos for us to enjoy! My basement is cold. Now, that's my excuse for not getting my craft area organized. I'd probably have to wear a sweater while working down there.

I love Kristen Hannah, reading her book, “Winter Garden”. Great book if you haven’t already read it. Gayle, seriously you need to turn your heater on, there are tons more of us telling you to turn your heat back on than the one person who complained. Good morning Gayle & Friends! Cracked up when you found the egg! I enjoyed walking down memory lane as you were going through your big box of done. took a couple of notes to go back and make some of the items I had forgotten to write down. The “half” butterflies are my favorite because they take less room and remind me of my mom. I think they look more natural. Watching you create the page topper amazes me how you make it look so easy. I really struggle with page toppers. Is there such a thing as generic ones? So I could practice?? 😂. This formula with the cardboard, decor themed for the journal and some lace/fabric is a good recipe, huh? And your advice at the end, really hit home with me. Thanks for always helping me get out of my own way and just craft!!! Warm blessings to you and YT crew! P.S. I have a solution for your heater, come to Kansas and craft with me! My craftroom is on the second floor, faces the east and gets very hot! I run the fan on high, even in winter! Thinking I need to change out the lights! Take care my friend!

When you were talking about instinct it reminded me of teaching. I taught for 25 years and we always told the kids "your first guess is your best guess because your brain knowns more than you think it does"

You can turn your heater on, and the complainer can choose another channel!

Think about renaming the journal Pink and Blue flowers with a Few Faeries Thrown In. Lol. Gayle, if you are cold, turn on your little heater. I've never noticed any sound in the back ground. This person might be using headphones which usually make background noises more noticeable. Someone else mentioned closed captions, might be an option. I am so envious that you even need to run a heater right now. We've already hit triple digits here in Texas. Maybe I should be a snowbird and moved to Montana during the summer. 🌞🌞🌞
Hi Mrs. Gayle I totally love the start to finish journal series that you do. Each time I watch a series of these videos it gives me more confidence in making my journals. They are not perfect by any means but the more I watch you the more I learn and I think ok what would Mrs. Gayle do now, lol. So thank you for your continued efforts in sharing your craft. I think you are so brave to craft in white, lol. I should never do that, lol I get covered in paint, ink and glue all the time. I love to hear your stories, super fun. One of my grandsons loves for me to hide eggs at all times of the year so we had a Nana day recently so I hid 30 eggs around the house but we couldn’t find the last one and for the life of me I couldn’t remember where the last one could be so I told him it would show up one day and sure enough, I was in my craft room the other day and moved something and there it was!! I went to sleep last night thinking about your heater situation, it still makes me angry 😡😡😡. I think you need to take care of you, use the heater. You are way more important than that one complainer. It's just ONE person after all. The rest of us don't give a hoot. And I hope that one person is aware of what the rest of us think, I mean seriously she should be ashamed and embarrassed. Really Gayle I know I would be so happy if you were to start using your heater and I'm sure that's the majority consensus.

Hi Gayle. This is going to be a fun journal to make. As you were sorting for stuff to put in it you said "no birds". Well...I was invited to a tea party my fairy friend was having in my enchanted forest in my backyard (on my city size lot 😂) and birds were there. Birds, butterflies and fairies. Oh yes indeed. They had quite a discussion on taking good care of their wings. 😁 So I think birds would go nicely. TFS. Hope you have a great day. 🌞

During the winter, when I'm cold in my craft room, I lay a heating pad across my lap and put a lap blanket over it and my legs. It heats me right up and I don't have to heat the entire house.
Always watch your videos but don't normally comment but had to today, please put on your heater, it is your home and you should not have to sit in the cold for our sake. To be honest I never really notice you have it on until you mention it. If that is all someone has to complain about they are a lucky person indeed!

Hi Gayle!! Love the cover!! I have yet to make a journal, however, it is on my "to do" list for the summer!! I have personal/family issues that I am dealing with at the moment. Watching your channel as well as a couple of others is giving me the courage to try this!! I am learning lots from everyone!! I don't know about anyone else, but, I am starting to feel the anticipation of making my first journal this summer!! I have some paperline collections and have found a few digitals that I like and will, of course, narrow it down!! I'm looking forward to seeing your next video on this journal!!
