As a Nurse I can understand this situation... 😅😅😅😅😅... Especially when the ambulance sound comes.. The duty doctor will be calling to ask " did that 🚑 came here?? ".. Or they be like... " just tell me if I should come or not.. "
Come to Canada.. you may never need to make a call.. (coz there is no free relax time.. we wait in Emergency for hours having Tylenol to get a doctor to do checkup)

Something tells me she's not gonna call you when patients come and then complain to your senior doctor that you were chilling in the room while she worked her ass off to manage the patients... I can't be the only one who's been backstabbed like that, can I?
