the bloon chipper one is used to replace a famer, so just place a chipper in the corner next to where your farms would normally be, and you basically get a free famrer every game

I agree with the list, besides engineer. The engineer is the #1 building because of its early game. It's been a very long time since I've played, but back when I did a simple 2-0 engineer could solo into the mid 20's with the specialty building, which doesn't sound very OP, but the amount of time it allows you to farm is INSANE. If you could pull that off, you would be financially set for the rest of the game, basically making the engineer an automatic win on most maps. It was nuts. I don't know if they nerfed it since then, but it was well worth the price.
Engineer specialty building is my favorite for mastery mode especially, it gives me desperately needed farming time and I can upgrade to cleansing foam for the late 20's because it gains the ability to pop bloons for some reason
Dart monkey and engineer special buildings are the best for actual game strategy / impoppable / mastery. Mortar special building is the best overall for fun, and the one that makes the largest difference, making mortar overpowered
My favorite is engineer 100%, S tier in my opinion. It reduces the engineer's costs, gives them super turrets (one of the most efficient forms of popping tower in the game, with lead popping power and a similar cost to triple darts, as well as soloing until the late 20's), and has a secret effect where cleansing foam gains the ability to pop bloons, it's super overpowered. I've beaten advanced maps on impoppable using only bloon trap engineers because of this insane specialty building! The price reduction also helps with overclock for anyone willing to micro that
I must say, my vote has changed throughout my time playing BTD5. Used to be bloonchipper, now its the Heli pilot. I've got a system down where I can get an apache by the mid 20s essentially and it alone could get me to the 60 rounds no issues involved. Being able to farm/ utilize villages for 40+ rounds is insanity. The apache is a raging BONER in BTD5🤘
1/0 Engineer with its upgrade after maxing its specialist building gives me like ~20 rounds to set up Monkey Farms so it's an S for me. But I didn't realize that its foam does damage after upgrade as I would usually put it at 2/3 eventually after setting up few other towers including Monkey Village.
Evaluating the monkey money value for the bloonchippers building is weird because unlike other buildings it essentially depends on how many potential farmers get replaced with bloonchippers over the course of the rest of the game for you. If you're not someone to use farmers very often for whatever reason then it might be worthless or if you constantly use farmers then this building could technically offer infinite value in terms of monkey money saved. For most players though I'd say it's in the middle where it more than pays for itself but isn't an absolute must.
My personal fav is the super monkey, I'm probably not gonna use the ability for it's fourth building upgrade since I don't usually get the temple and it's kinda hard to get a temple with max value sacrifices in btd5 since most of the towers kinda feel shit
Bloonchipper specialist building is good when you don't want to spend money on monkey farmer to collect those annoying banana. The specialist probably good at mid/late game i think
Yeah, i guess you could argue that, just keep in mind the price of the specialist building itself, it might be better to just buy farmers, because they also help a lot with stalling
@@bertnost1253 for me, it's not that expensive(Tips:Grind for No Escape Special mission to get money faster). Bloonchipper itself(with specialist activated) Can now Stun Bloons,has longer range than farmer(when upgraded), and you don't need to spend those monkey money.
@@wilsonbevi8113 you can get all of them (besides farmer) for free by going in random missions and the free ones count so if you place the free ones then restart over and over you will get the pro versions without spending monkey money
Wait so with the tack shooter upgrades it doesn’t stack? So you only get +1 pierce for lvl 3 and 4? That’s dumb af. I thought it gave +2 pierce total and then you could do a monkey town/MIB for another +2 pierce…..man that sucks if it really doesn’t stack.
Gotta disagree with the ninja specialist upgrade. The ninja with the 10% attack speed upgrade is so good early game, letting u greed to like round 9. With the ability, u can greed even past round 10 letting u get a head start on the farming game. It's only bad on maps where there's two split paths that don't ever meet like chasm

I didn't know about the foam doing damage with the engie workshop, because of it it is now my favorite specialist building

True, also you can just get 20> engeniers and upgrade them to 23 for absolute destruction and a free win on impopabale

You should consider (not much) the fact that monkey aces (the hit box) flip to the other side when you get it

By the time it would save you money you would have more than enough monkey money collected that the 50 for a farmer every game is pointless

For the 4th upgrade of engineer i would not recommend upgrading because it only gives you three in stead of 5. Ignore the 4th and only focus the 3rd
