Hi all,
This is a summer skirt sewing tutorial with measurements for 4 years old baby girl. You can finish this skirt in 10 minutes. you can add more layers if you want.
I have used 100% cotton fabric and 1" wide elastic at the waistband.
This 3 layered skirt definitely an adorable skirt for your little one and you must try and give me the feedbacks as your valuable comments.

I made one for my niece. I appreciate the measurements given at the beginning. I made it slightly different method by joining the ends of the layers together, but the outcome wasn’t bad for a first timer. I wish I’m able to put in photo of it here. Snap, I don’t know how to do it!

Thank you for your awesome videos. I've a humble request, if you can share all your measurements in the beginning as 1-2 slides. It will be easier & very helpful to follow & make adjustments as per requirement. I'm a beginner & find it difficult to calculate amount of fabric required, like how much long strip is good for frills for a particular waist size! My daughter is 5yo, taller than her avg. age. Thanks again ❤❤❤❤

How do you determine the measurements for different size children? That's the only complication I have.

Usually I go with double of the waist measurement for the top layer
Next layer will be same as top layer+ half of the the same layer
Eg -waist measurement is 20
Then first layer is 40
Second layer is 60
3ed layer will be 80
Or you can increase if you are looking for more gathers.
