In the winter season the outdoor skating rink is pulling tourist as a magnetic.
In Budapest you can find one of the biggest outdoor ice rink. The Hungarian's is simple called
it: Műlyég. That name "Műjég" are coming from 2 words: mű + jég.
"Mű" is meaning not natural or made by human and "jég" what is coming from the ice word.
This outdoor skating rink is located next to the Heroes square. You can easily accessible by subway 1, which is the oldest subway line in Budapest.
If you are at the heroes square worth exploring the area. Can be found here the Szechenyi Thermal Bath, House of Music, The city zoo and many many other cool places. 😉
