Pile 2. You just answered every painful, lingering question I have had for the past year about my person. My gut kept telling me he's a dear soul, he's not trying to hurt me, he's wounded and scared. But my wounded ego chose to tantrum, to wallow in righteous anger. I pushed my person away because he was causing a lot of confusion. He was pulling me in, then pushing me away. No clarity around it. It was making me feel desperate and crazy. He was so terrified to speak his truth and reveal his wounds and fears. And I didn't have the bandwidth or emotional regulation to let him talk in circles until he found his voice. You really have nailed this. I know exactly who hurt them. It wasn't me. But it was bad. Crazyily enough, I just now noticed that my person had tried calling me a couple of weeks ago but I had blocked his number so it went into the blocked voicemails. I have just unblocked. I feel hopeful again for the first time in a very long time. This person is a keeper, and I understand now not to personalize this situation. I know how to proceed. If I’m being honest I think this is the aftermath of seeing me and what he’s going through right now, because he went and did the same thing he said he wouldn’t do right after I saw him again. I’ve been feeling his energy real strong lately and it’s really bothering me and pulling me back in and I don’t want to let that happen unless I know he’s really changed.
