To answer Chris’s question at the beginning: Most fish can see the water because their eyes are able to see color. And the reason they can see water is because air is a gas and water is a liquid, also water isn’t fish’s air they still breath oxygen like us they just respirate differently.

Since fish live under water, it'll just feel normal because they've been there the whole life just like we live over it with air. If a fish comes out of the water, they can obviously feel and see the difference just as we feel when we go under water. Since air and water is both transparent, there isn't that much of a difference other than the fact that water has the ability to reflect the light while air doesn't. So when the water reflects the light, only some get reflected and the other goes through the water but it won't travel too long. Which also explains why oceans are darker than the land If anyone has any doubt, you're aloud to ask in the replies. 🙃 (I'll be answering when I wake up tomorrow.
