I came from YSL but yes. Keep doing this. I want to start real estate investing and this is helpful
Yep seems to catch children off guard when parent(s) had a reverse mortgage.
Heirs being upset are ignorant. Many people's wealth is tied up in their home and they need that to survive later in retirement. "how dare they spend the wealth they accumulated in life for retirement, for retirement!" I've told my daughter straight up, don't expect anything, but be surprised if you get something. She is also aware that I 'may' put a reverse mortgage on the house in the future, and what that means when I die and what options she would have if I did do that.
I agree, however many of these lenders are quite predatory.
@@CadilacLaw True enough. You need to understand and comprehend exactly what you are signing. I hope I don't need to do it, but it is a possible option if need be and hopefully I'll still be cognitive enough to recognize predatory deals if that time comes.
and to me that's the crux of the issue@@fictitiousnightmares
I hate that predatory stuff like this is out there. But I suppose sometimes people just gotta do what they gotta do, haha
