      Pleasure and let me know how you get on. Worked way better on clumping bamboos. For running bamboos I had great success trimming the bottom 1/4 of roots, from the bottom of pots and spreading roots out in Xl seed tray cover with compost 🙌
      the potted boo is also thankful of the space with new fresh compost on the bottom of the old pot

    In process of creating visual screen. Bought clumping bamboo yesterday and plan to use your method to turn it into many more today. I was planting too shallow before. Not sure how much to water. Great video. No nonsense or cutesy stuff, just straight info. Thank you.

      Nice do love a screen of bamboo makes, such a lovely noise. My best success was from root cuttings almost 100% whereas the success rate on the node cuttings, was vary variable dependent on type. I trimmed off the bottom 1/4 of potbound roots
      , spread those out into LG old seed tray covered with compost and watered great results! Will film it so you can see 🌱🌱🌱

      Thanks, and it's the same for us, especially seeing some of the trees really take on form. But other things like how the strawberry have spread....always so much to learn and nice to share it 🍓🍓🍓
      Hows your garden!??

      @@TheWildlandsGarden Still pretty cold here in London & my lettuce that I put out in the warm spell have now gone caput but the pak choy & broccoli have hardened up unexpectedly well. Loving seeing my raspberries & strawberries spread as well & have just taken some sprouts off my red currents to propagate. Love it. Unfortunayely, I'm looking at having to abandon my garden & all the trees I have brought on as I will be moving countries soon. However I have the pleasure of starting a new garden ahead of me

      @@TheWildlandsGarden I spent a year in Camden but have been in Kennington Oval for the last 13 years. I was considering Portugal but life has taken a 180 & I am moving to NZ which was not on my original shortlist! Time to get out of the cities

    Any updates on the growth of these cabe cuts?

    • @TheWildlandsGarden
      @TheWildlandsGarden  Před 5 dny

      There's, an update in the last video, but long short best results, was from root cuttings. The cane cuts I'd not put the effort in again on running bamboo. But better results on clumpers
