Thank you for setting the record straight. The bike tops out at 120 mph. I see several articles that claimed the bike will do 160 miles an hour. Pure bull shit articles.
i tried just confirming its freezes in 193km/h exacly your 120m. this bike is a monster on second and third gear, almost kick you from de bike if you pull hard.
I traded my LowRiderS for a Vivid Black FXDR...$15.5 for my LowRider, took a big chunk out of the payments from my FX. And by the way, that rear fender is good unused space to puta mini bag for tools or whatever. The compartment is for my tire repair kit. I actually like the Stock exhaust/Looks. I may stick an Vance & Hines FP3, and tune it to the stock pipe to perhaps raise the rev limit, and to bypass the Governor .
That's a good idea to place a tire repair kit and I want to raise the rpm and bypass that limiter real soon. I just did my 1k mile service and about to do some upgrades.
Rage Racer I got a “Stop & Go” tire repair pump & Kit on Amazon that you can fit into the compartment, you have to put them in separate without the bag that it comes in. , but the pump does fit. And “Cycle Gear” sells these mini bags that the rear fender lets you strap in with cable ties to the rear. I fit two bags total, one for tools, the other fist Aid. I’m in NJ so the weather here sucks to ride lately. I’m not much into social media but if you like I can email a pic of the bag set up and how it looks on the bike. 👍
I have the Fatbob 114, coming from a CBR600RR. I think the main component holding the new Harley's back are the limiters, I mean shit its almost a 2000cc engine. Heavy bike or not with 2000cc's pushing you I think they will all hit at least 140mph stock, with the new 114s anyway...Nice bike!
140 mph gps on flat road? with 91 hp os 🤔 naaaah i dont think so maybe 130 mph ,140 is to much 👌🏻on 140 it shpuld have like 105-110 hp close to this 👌🏻
I'm years late, but; my 2020 FXST with a 107ci, S&S 55mm intake manifold, S&S stealth air intake, V&H Short Shots, and FP3 tune tops out around 111mph. Maybe it could eek out another mph if I had enough space; but the bike definitely begins noticably slowing it's rate of acceleration around 90mph, and anything over 100.... you aren't picking up speed fast lol. Bone stock, I imagine my bike would've probably been in the 105mph range for top speed; but to be honest, I don't have a clue, as my bike wasn't stock long enough for me too find out how fast it would go from the factory 😂
Did you ever ride a new fat bob? I bet you’d love it. I compared both this past week and surprisingly, the fat bob is just as quick but it also handles better. I wrote a check for one. Still, the FXDR is a super nice bike! Ride safe.
So much wind that's my only complaint but really if you tuck in folded over like a taco it's all good😌 I love my FXDR. Also I get little to no hate from sportbike guys, lots of hate from Bagger bros tho
This is a nice bike, but it’s not a performance cruiser. The 114ci is not a performance engine, it’s just the 114 M8 they put in all their other bikes. The engine has some good low down torque (I got it in my 2019 Street Glide Special), but it’s not a high revving performance engine by any means. It kills me when people try and say that the FXDR is replacing the Vrod, because it not doing that. The Vrod was a high revving (9000rpm), dohc, liquid cooled performance engine that Harley designed with help from Porsche. I had a Vrod Nightrod Special and it will leave this new FXDR is the dust, believe me. Also, don’t try and race a Suzuki M109 with the FXDR because it will do the same thing to it. Just because the FDXR looks exotic doesn’t mean it will run with the real performance cruisers; it still has a pushrod, air/oil cooled low revving engine in it. You got to keep shifting quickly because all the power is between 2 and 5 grand.
You are totally right!!! Use to own a vn-2000 and I’m sure it would’ve left that thing in the dust... Would like to see it go againts the Indian Scout 1200 just to see...
you right 👌🏻 watch from 1:50 👉🏻 m.czcams.com/video/qXWJTQRaqrw/video.html yea vrod is faster on straight line acceleration thanks more power however on twostie roads it end oposit 😉👌🏻 cos fxdr handle lil better 👌🏻and whan you comapre to let say honda shadow 1100 it is in fact powercruiser outaccelerate shadowe 1100 osetc 😉👌🏻 beside most people as daily still would prefer more fxdr thanks stronger lowend than in vrod 😎👌🏻including me however on longer trip vrod is more comfortable 👌🏻
And I see you have some beautiful DSM'S I use to have a 95 GST and loved it! I'm looking at buying a GSX but they are hard find on Craigslist and Facebook.
Rage Racer Awesome! Thanks. How long can you ride it in one sitting? I only concern is it not being very comfortable for hours at a time. Do you have any issues with that?
I think you need a Dynojet Powervision or FP3 tuner to remove the speed limiter. I think mechanically these gearboxes should allow the bike to reach 165mph top speed. And a 107 Stage 2 should do 140mph+, but yours has the FXDR 114 so it should pull a bit more. It's top end RPM is 5500RPM, Stage2 cam pushes that higher. But any non Harley Tuner can void your powertrain warranty so, it's always a risk. We know the bike can go faster than 120, but do you need to? Sorta thing. The CLUNK when you switch gears is entirely intentionally. It's a very intentional thing for a mechanical and recognizable shift. I'm sure you know after riding a sport bike, sometimes you shift and you think "wait what gear am I in? did it shift?" Harley doesn't want none of that, so they maintain a very distinct and rider recognizable shift. When the transmission Shifts YOU KNOW it shifted. Also I find it funny how many sport bike riders switch over to Harleys later on.
Thanks for the advice 😎 I didn't know about the gear shift feel. But yes I never thought I would have ever owned a Harley and I'm not disappointed with it either. It's a different type of ride but very enjoyable. I already have some of my old friends bashing me because I bought one lol but I dont care
Never happened! One year they said a regular Sporster had a top end of 120mph. Every other year is was around 100. It was not an XR1200. I own a an XR. The stock top end is 120 but it loaded with Buell parts.
it handles better than vrod on twisty roads ,have better breaks no sory breaks both have good 👍🏻 and lil better suspension and biger front tire what prevent more be understering ,also have better lowend torq cos 160 nm vs vrod 115 nm ,but when it comes to straight line drag race vrod kick its ass 👌🏻 watch from 1:50 m.czcams.com/video/qXWJTQRaqrw/video.html stock vs stock except those rear bars in vrod 👌🏻 its cos vrod engine makes more power 120 vs 90 hp but you need to revv it more to find this diffrenc on lower rpm fxdr would feel and it is in fact stronger 😁👌🏻 yea i know its fat bob 114 but at end it weight the same and have the same engine with the same power and torque so fair enough i quees 😎 beside on longer trip vrod is lil more comfortable for most people in terms of body position ergonomics 👌🏻 so fxdr handle better , have better lowend but is less comfortable for long trip for most people and when you start to race to limits of both it be slower one 😎 for short trip i go with fxdr for lomg vrod and on dragstrip i put money on vrod stock vs stock 👍🏻on circle track woth alot corners it be close cos what vrod loose in corner overcpmpensate out of corner on straight depend on track topograpghy both can jump on finish line i t he saime time or fxdr faster if straight be shorter and more corner or vrod faster if less corner more straight 👌🏻 ok it dont have biger tire at front like fatbob 114 so understerr be similar however it probably have lil more weight at front axle so lil less 😉👌🏻

Good review
Thank you.
Nice bike man I just got a 2019 fat bob! I’m in central FL area. Are you down in Lakeland?
Yep I live in the Lakeland area and I was looking at the Fat Bob too and it's a great bike.
And I see you have some beautiful DSM'S I use to have a 95 GST and loved it! I'm looking at buying a GSX but they are hard find on Craigslist and Facebook.
I really want one.
Do you still have it? And have you found any other issues?
Yes I still have it and I have not found any issues. It has been a great bike
Rage Racer Awesome! Thanks.

@@Grandmasterjord nope I've traveled 200 miles and was fine but I can't speak for everyone but me personally It's comfortable
I have had mine a year. Great bike. Try passenger pegs to take advantage of the clip ons.
@@rider14mcd63 yeah I want to get passenger pegs
Holy shit pot holes on highway doing 175-mph … I guess you’ll be going so fast you’ll just fly over the pothole … what do you think?
I thought you were going to do a 0-60 … since I’ve seen 2.5 seconds to 0-60 mph?

I'm looking for a good harley and need to have room for 1 passenger. Would you say this one is ok to have a passenger on it?
You can definitely ride a passenger but it may not be the most comfortable depending on the size of the passenger

yea 👌🏻 very close to this in standarsied condition with very good driver it probably be bale to go lil under 13,0 sec to 12,9-12,8 sec most likely 👍🏻
