    Fishing down here in South Central Florida about 50 miles north of Lake Okeechobee. I've been watching your videos for the last 6 months or so and caught my first Black Crappie on a Stump Bug jig thanks to you. Always used minnows and thought that was the only way. Also I now have 4 Crappie Stix rods thanks to your advice. Having a lot of fun with the electronics and the tactics you have shown on CZcams. Looking forward for the next one...

    Thanks for your insight on crappie fishing. I have ordered my ACC rods and received my 19' and 11' rods. I'm still waiting on my 6' and 8' to arrive (post office dragging their feet. I also got the Trion reels loaded with 10lbs snipping braid in high vis green I follow you closely and have all of the gear you have suggested

      @@WiredforCrappie I went out in the heat Monday and practiced dock shooting (need more practice). I did manage to use my Livescope and found crappie on the bottom in a opening to a cove. the sensitivity of the stixs is amazing!!

    Great show again, and what lake is it. Do you like the new 34? I just installed mine with new black box, but not been on water yet. Thanks and will come fish with you before long.

      Michael, I do post Livescope video from time to time. However I try to mix up the videos so that they are not always the same. Keep an eye out and you will catch some Livescope footage sometime. Thanks for watching buddy.

    Great Video Marine!!! Would you fish Louden the same way, OR would you find a cove with a little more cover in it? Maybe using darker stump bugs for the dirtier water?

    Great video as always! I went yesterday and found lots of fish on about 10 different brush piles in 20 to 30 foot of water (in between spawning flats and main channels), but all the fish were small - caught probably 40 fish, but only 14 barely keepers. Any advice on finding larger fish? Thanks!

    • @WiredforCrappie
      @WiredforCrappie  Před 2 lety

      Yup. Look for the piles that have a few fish and not a butt load of fish. The loaners are usually larger fish.

    Is your jig tied directly to the braided line?

      While watching I was counting(10-11)
      Before you started reeling? But you were using a 1/4 oz jig so it would get
      down quicker(correct?)
