Hi, I have 2017 equinox and it has haziteration and vibration when I drive like 45 and easily apply gas pedal. If I release gas pedal or floor it it's ok.. do you thing it has something to do with these solenoids ?
my gearbox is stuck in 3rd gear when i put it in drive also has hard shift in to drive and reverse throwing up a po970 solenoid 3 open circuit short to ground code would this be the problem ? it's a vauxhall insignia

Great video! Sorry if this posted twice. I do have a question about my 2014 Chevy Malibu 2.5L 75K miles. Trans RPO code MNH (6T40) never been worked on and never changed the trans fluid. It's the wife's car so I don't drive it much but in the last 3K miles or so noticed when going down the highway with steady throttle if I approach an incline it thumps a bit shifting from 6 to 5 otherwise everything is smooth. Took it around a hilly neighborhood at like 25-30 mph and if holding the throttle steady and going up hill it does not downshift unless I let of throttle a bit to help it. Even to the point the engine is laboring in a higher gear like 4th when it should maybe be in 3rd or 2nd. Is this a common issue you might know of and is there an easy fix. I can turn a wrench and considered getting the solenoids and filter to change out. I know I cannot change the TCM itself as it needs to be programmed. But the AC Delco parts for this are not that bad if this is where the issue is at. I really do not want to take it to the shop for fear of what you have mentioned many times about these shops more than willing to tell me I need a complete trans job. Could you provide any of your thoughts and expertise please? Thanks in advance.
My mechanic is telling me to change the transmission .. it doesn't want to run from a stopped position then it shifts whenever it wants 2600 for the "fix" taking it in today
My 08 NOX has the same issue when hot. I've tried flush and fill with no results. My next move is to see if coolant lines are working properly. Seems no one has real insight into this problem.
I have found some problem when I shifted from "P" to "R" or "N" to "R", the symptom like jerk what happen? How can I do? My car is Chevy Cruze 2013 1.8
Quick question: if you buy another TCM can you ...remove the old solenoids and add the new solenoids with the old computer to avoid take it to get it programmed?
@gavinryan-oi8zo it worked ; I got lucky it was a PCS3 solenoid replacement & it low on 2 quarts of tranny oil ; I ordered oem solenoids from China ,with the same part numbers and just use one, out of the set ..for back up; & my code p0796 went away 🥹🤘🤘🤘🤘

i just wish you had a chance to work on ZF4HP16 gearbox. mine is shifting nicely on 2-3-4 gear but when I go to stop, it always kick.

I have a 14 malibu and I am having the same problem . I don't know what the problem is. I sure don't waste to take it to a Stealership !

I took it to a chevrolet dealer and they said it needs a new transmission after they spent 700$ on fixing the problem they promised would fix it 🤬.

If it is sleeping you need to give it coffee to wake it up.
Common sense : you cleaned them and did nothing? Replace with new ones or the whole tcm
Put new in!!!!
The best thing you can do to avoid any problems with this car is just sell it, this thing has endless problems
