- Over the last year, Amorphis have been touring the world in support of their 2018 album Queen of Time - the first record to feature all four original band members since their 1994 breakthrough album Tales From The Thousand Lakes.
Nevertheless, they took a break between sold-out shows to visit us in the Genelec Artist Room, delivering three exclusive performances, all powered by Genelec 1234 and 8351 studio monitors.

Amorphis...a so underrated band...so many morphological transformations over the years...and they still have the magic touch from the 90s.

Tomi is incredible. What a huge contrast between him singing emotinal as fuck and at other times being an absolute beast with the best growls ever. Sensational.

My favorite accoustic song of all times. Just keeps getting better and better with every listen.
I remember, being out to see Paradise Lost live on their best ever Album's tour "Draconian Times" and I didn't have a clue who Amorphis was. They played as opener. Three songs in, I found myself growling, singing, jumping with the crowd and enjoying and loving their songs. Since then to this day I love this band. Keep up the good work. All the best from Germany.

I love Amorphis both for their ability to renew and willingness to honor their roots. For me Elegy is their number one album, but Queen of Time is album I have listened more than any other album (from Amorphis or any other band).

Tommy is just magical, the perfect pitch and match for the modern era of the band. I just can not imagine any other singer...Perhaps they might become BIGGER with another singer but this is it right here man you can feel it in your soul

I love Koskinen too. I think Tomi does an amazing job. At first I was bitter about the change but Iearned to love Tomi as much.
When it comes to the question of which version is most enjoyable, that's obviously going to be subjective, and understandably so. However, when it comes to the singers, and more specifically their technical vocal capabilities, Tomi is, by any metric, the objectively superior singer. So obvious is this fact that I'm not even going to explain how I arrived at this conclusion. Those in doubt need only ask themselves a single question: could Pasi honestly handle a Tomi-era song as successfully as Tomi handles the Pasi-era songs?

i think the keyboard was a bit high in the mix, it overwhelmed the rest a bit, but otherwise, awesome...
Considering that this was done with Genelec, I would assume that was by design instead of by accident. It would be interesting to know if that design was decided by the artists or by Genelec.
