It wasn't exactly random, the player slapped Mario with the star just before the 2nd lap and just before going off screen Mario hit the wall so he was sent into free fall. When the AI enter free fall and then go off screen before landing, they end up getting stuck until a certain amount of time passes or they come into view again. Taking advantage of the AI's teleport cheating and making them get suspended in the air lmao
this track gets a comeback to Mario Kart Tour 😍
hope it does on Mario Kart 8: Deluxe too
@@Pinkioupdate from the future; that's not the case and thank God it's not. The part with all the snowmen and the ice statue would be terrible for online play and especially when playing as the big characters like Bowser, Dry Bowser, Wario, Donkey, and Petey.

The instruction booklet made it look like the sky over Frappe Snowland was a dark purple, almost black. And at least one TV screen was capable of reproducing it. Does anyone else remember that?

I once got one in 2nd. Back when the item balancing was crazy wich made it a bit more insane....
I think Schaffrillas said it best; the more you play this course, the worse it feels. Aside from the visuals and atmosphere of this course, nothing else stands out to me in a good way. The snowmen in this course don't help it whatsoever and make the experience so much more miserable.
