I've got a good speaker set up with my TV, so audio hasn't really been an issue. I 'usually' hear footsteps no problem and if I don't I just pretend they had dead silence on lol

Funny thing is I have a 56 inch tv in my room but it’s far enough from my bed that it’s the perfect view of the entire screen. It helps actually, plus the refresh rate is high enough where there’s no delay in gameplay

gas has been a counter to thermal since the game came out. the guys who do the technical videos on equipment and load outs discovered it pretty early on.

Gas grenades DO impede the vision of thermal but the NVG scope can see right through them, at the cost of range/zoom level of course...

As a start, they need to take out name tags in thermals; my 640 thermal doesn't even do that. Add noise, decrease contrast, add ghosting(like 13-33 ms of thermal time constant τ)
It’s fairly easy to no scope nowadays. All you gotta do is make sure you’re not moving too much and put the dot in the middle on the enemy and presto. 75% chance to hit them.

I always use thermal on caves , it's just so much fun watching them get madder and madder!!🤣
So my idea to nerfing the thermal. Is to put a battery on the attachment so You can't just keep aiming down forever and after the battery run out you can see enemies that well.but the thermal recharges back after a certain amount of time. Like how in Rainbow 6 siege Glaz has it on his sniper rifle. (another way the thermal turns off and just becomes a regular scope)
I remember seeing somewhere that theres a way to counter thermal and its with gas grenades paired with cold blooded. The gas covers the area in black smoke on thermal scopes.

In regards to playing on a big screen it depends on the game. I feel like with multiplayer games(mainly shooters) I can't play on a big screen. Has to be on a monitor. For just about anything else though the big screen works every bit as well for me.
