I am confused as all my lecturers suggest being an auditor for 3 years. the problem now is that i don't know what actually i like. Hey Varsha! While studying ACCA, it is recommended you gather some work experience as that makes you an ideal candidate for when you eventually get in the work force. You should think about interning or working in a relevant industry for the same. ACCA's with 0 work experience still definitely get paid around ₹3Lakhs P.a starting, which when compared with what a CA article gets, is fairly high. The internships or work while you study will both contribute to your work experience requirements in ACCA and help land you a higher pay package.
There is no requirement for working abroad as part of any internships in ACCA. Any relevant work experience, in India or international, is all considered valid. Hopefully this clarifies your doubts.

When one is self-employed, in order for their work experience to count towards the PER, it must be supervised and verified by a suitably qualified person. If that is the case for you, then it can be counted. But keep in mind, a suitably qualified person will only allow accountancy related work and not creative work.
