One thing I did after I was saved, was research whether the resurrection was done by aliens.
I don’t know why I was comfortable with an assembly of beings having superpowers, but not with one supreme being having them.
Well, if aliens are indeed real, it’s simply a matter of time until we catch up to them. However, if God is real, then we’ll never be able to do that.
We’ll never be able to overpower or argue with God. We’ll forever be inferior. One of the reasons why people are so comfortable and actually prefer the idea that the universe is self-existent. Because it’s perfectly fine to accept that the Sun is the Sun because it is just a thing. Non-personal and non-intelligent. Although it is uncontrollable and can kill us at any moment, it doesn’t know what it is doing. Therefore, it is much easier to submit to it.
Any explanation seems to be more valid and reasonable than the one already presented. Jesus was indeed God and resurrected. There’s life after death and this life, this body, is a cocoon and death will release us from it. Revealing if we’ll forever be moths or butterflies.

As much as I love the Halo franchise, there are some issues with it. Even though it is sci-fi fantasy, they tell that humans were created by a race of aliens known as the precursors thousands and thousands of years ago. It is sci-fi and never trying not to be, but I still don’t like it even in fantasy stories when they try to come up with their own explanation for the origin of humanity as opposed to the actual origin told in the Bible.

Turek is wrong about the development of panspermia. For one, it's an ancient idea that was first noted by Anaxagoras during 500-428 BCE. The original iteration was that there were "seeds of life" all throughout the cosmos that would cause the spontaneous emergence of life. Louis Pasteur and John Tyndall demonstrated this to be false.
The modern iteration rests on the observation that organic molecules have been found in comets, meteorites, and other parts of space. Most proponents point out that there are microbes capable of surviving the harsh conditions of space, postulating that some microbes could have made it to earth via a meteorite or comet. Although, bacteria have never been demonstrated to be so hardy as to be capable of surviving long enough to reach outside of our solar system. I digress.
Now, you'll see almost no mention of aliens in reference to panspermia. Not even the most ardent supporters of panspermia think aliens did it. If there are scientists that think this, they are a minority within a minority. Also, there are at least a few proponents that believe life has always existed and could not have emerged from inorganic material.
My point is that aliens were never a serious consideration among panspermia supporters. The most popular explanation for the origin of life at the time was God, with some believing that life was seeded on other planets because God would never make planets to be barren.
The strongest part about the panspermia hypothesis is the fact that organic molecules are found in comets and other regions of space. The most extreme forms completely go against our current understanding of biology. They are on the fringes. Other than that, panspermia is an untestable idea with little conclusive evidence. It is safe to say that there are other hypotheses, such as abiogenesis, that require fewer assumptions.

Some theists claim that everything needs a creator and that the universe cannot have existed forever or just come into existence out of nothing. The creator of the universe they call God. Then they immediately break their own rule that everything needs a creator and claim that God does not need one and has always existed.
That of course is illogical nonsense. Either everything needs a creator, even God, which leads to a neverending chain of creators, the infinite regression, or nothing necessarily needs a creator and then the universe does not need a creator either. This all is nothing but prestidigitation to cram God into the equation, nothing more.
The “counterarguments” usually go along the lines that God is beyond human reasoning and therefore it is reasonable to break off the infinite regression at God but that of course is paradoxical because you cannot base human reasoning on something that is beyond human reasoning.
Religious beliefs of that kind are inherently irrational. Today people are expected to act rationally and believe in some kind of god at the same time. That leads to desperate attempts to rationalize those irrational beliefs. Amusing at the start but rather tedious if repeated ad nauseam.

Thus, matter and energy are exempt from the question of origins, and so is life. Turek says an eternal universe is impossible, but he's wrong.

It's not proven that the universe had a starting point and if it's perhaps possible that a god might be able to exist without requiring a creator, then I have no reason to believe that any life form has to have a creator in order to be able to exist. And it's reasonable to believe in the life forms that are here on earth, but it's not reasonable to believe in a god because a god is not proven to be real. And just because people wrote some far fetched stories in the bible that doesn't prove that those far fetched stories really happened, or prove that they even could happen.

A theory is just a theory, adding the word "scientific" in front of that word does not prove it or legitimize it. Your use of the word "literally" is well, you aren't using that word correctly. Again, yes, if you make a positive statement then YOU have to support it with evidence (proof if it is legitimate). Nobody has to disprove your claims. If applying the standards of real science, including the scientific method, it is up to the person presenting a theory or hypothesis to test & re-test that hypothesis and to furnish the results (evidence or proof) to others. That is how science works.
Please be more mature & respectful in your comments. It is very difficult to have a reasonable discussion with an unreasonable person. I am more than happy to have such discussions but if you are legitimately trying to have a scientific discussion, do so. This is not a "reality" TV show.

So there are aliens on other planets -- perhaps on many hundreds of thousands of planets -- and Christ had to go live on each one and die on the cross to save the people on each one? His death on the cross on Earth counted for all the other planets, and if so, how did he pick Earth? Maybe he only had to die on half the planets as the aliens on the others did not sin? I'll stick with God creating life here for His purposes and believe there are no aliens elsewhere.
People will make up any sort of belief in any other things just to refute that our Heavenly Father created everything in this universe and we have to love him just like he loved us and try to seek his approval. Its easier for people to say and believe that nothing exploded into everything we know about in this universe, some single celled organisms from outer space hitch hiked to earth on some comments and that is how life formed on earth and on and on but for me to say that I believe that an intelligent being that I call God created everything is totally absurd.

Good answer. Not sure why Christians are so against intelligent life on other planets. There's intelligent life other than humans all over our own globe. Why couldn't God put life on other planets? He put life at the bottom of the ocean, so why not other places? It doesn't mean the gospel has to apply to them any more than we apply it to gorilla's in the jungle. For some reason people want to demonize the concept.
The earth has a firmament over it. What was in the beginning, that's it. Fallen angels are the long standing demons.
