I was a drug addict for almost a decade of my life, wasted my most precious years, can’t believe I’m not dead or in prison, but today I’m a CPA, ready to start my own business, and moved from Ohio to Florida and bought my first home 5 minutes from the ocean. Do not tell me something is impossible because I’ve done it. Don’t make excuses because I made excuses in the past but here I am. Do not be a victim, do not let others dictate your life, do not let others stop you from achieving greatness, do not have fear and tackle your dreams.

I was talking to a millionaire who went into motivational speaking and this is what he told me. People who become rich achieve it because they kept going after every failure. He said he got excited every time he failed because he just learned something. I looked at every failure as a learning experience and applied that to what he did next. This is the first thing I watched after a difficult hip surgery amongst other things going on in my life right. The most arduous time in my life. …I prepared hard. No excuses. Powered through it all …owned the winter and powered through it all. This speech has helped like no other throughout this journey. Fall forward. A back up plan was never a option. Hard work WORKS. As I sit here in pain I realize I can’t be hurt. I made myself invincible. Pain is temporary. Discipline is the key to all life has to offer. Slay the dragon, become a. monster, stay hard, conquer the winter and GET AFTER IT!

As a musician this is the most important part of his speech. It's actually about the quality. I was successful at a young age while most my peers struggled and struggled and blamed and blamed.
